a broken foot! About my son's injury from last week. It is sprained, but it is also fractured. Went to our doctor who really thought it was just a sprain, but after an x-ray decided to send us to the orthopedic doctor. So he does have a frature, but the bone is still in place, so no need for surgery. He has a boot thing to wear now and will go back to the doctor in three weeks. Thanks to everyone who responded to my post from last week. I just wish I had taken your good advise sooner.

Oh dear Well he's young so he'll mend! He will still be going to school I guess? He will think twice next time about doing things he shouldn't be doing instead of learning Spanish

Yes, he'll mend, but will he really think twice next time??? We'll have to wait and see on that one.

I might have taken him to the doctor sooner, but my husband kept saying that if he could walk/limp on it, it wasn't broken. Thanks for the get well sentiment

This is good news, no fracture but a sprain. I would hate to fracture any of my limbs. I hope he gets better soon. Cheers!!

Perhaps I was not clear in my post, but the foot is factured. He broke his arm last school year. I wonder what he'll do for his senior year.
