How long it has been since you receive your BR?

I was just checking my BR page and I am quite happy that I have now 22-23 BR award in my case now although some of them were the discussions where only I was the one who responded. I don't mind it because a BR is a BR.
I was checking that I didn't get this award since 3rd March 2009. Quite a long time it is. I think I am not responding to many users that is why they didn't get a chance to give me this award.
When did you last received this award?

BR is Best Response.
Each user who starts a discussion has the opportuniy to award the Best Response on each discussion by choosing the one which they think deserves it more than the others.
There is no time limit for awarding it. Some users do it quickly and others wait and do it at a later date.
When you receive one you will be notified.

Hi sanuanu, frankly speaking, I actually don’t pay much attention to the number of best response I have acquired and I feel reluctant to do such troublesome thing nowadays. Yeah, during those earlier days I tend to check my BR pages every now and then. When I have received a BR I feel really glad, for my effort and time putting in it is awarded. And I will try my best to express my gratitude to the writer soon.
I feel it’s rather weird if I just send the two words thank you only, and I usually would add a few lines of comment with one or more views that I have left out earlier. I had received the latest BR two days back.

I have checked it and you have well over 500+ BRs. I can't look beyond that because I think your BR could go upto 1000+ which is 15% of your total posts. You are good at winning BRs ma friend. I hope that I could match you some day!

You are really great sanuanu! It really didn’t occur to me that you are willing to find out for me. You are really a hospitable and helpful friend. I never think that I have such amount of best response so far. Thank you very much for your good deed and to help me to find out the number of BR I have attained now. I believe as time goes by you surely will accumulate more than what I have at the present moment, for such an enthusiastic person like you. cheerio!

You didn't go finding because you must have been informed by mylot by emails that you won a BR.
It was a treat to watch that you have so many BR in your account. No wonder your start rating is 10 for such a long time. My rating is hovering around 8 & 9 for last one month. The day I win a BR it goes to 9 but after one or two days, it comes back to 8 again.
Thanks for the your good wish, may be that was what I am looking for.

I got a B.R. just a few hours ago and in fact, I have got two BRs in the last two days so I am really happy. As I am relatively new here and I get limited time to participate, I am a long way off from the 20+ mark for the B.Rs and it will take me quite a lot of time to reach there. However, it is my effort to post my honest opinion in every discussion i participate in.
When you get a best response for it, it is a very pleasant reward for the same.

I got my last br on the 7th of this month and I just realized i have to go through and thanks those who have given me best responses this month.. I think the more discussions you respond to the better chance you have at getting a br.. Good luck in the future with BR.

I don't think I have given you a BR yet because I virtually remember the user names to whom I awarded. Anyway, I would spread your thanks to those who actually deserve this.
You are right, more discussion we respond more chances of getting BRs. Guess, I don't post more responses for last 10-15 days.

I got my last one today. I don't really respond to discussions to try and get BR. I just say it how it is. If I get a BR, it makes me happy.

Well, it takes me some time to understant what the abbreviation BR here means since I joined Mylot several days ago. Marking as the best response is really the best award in Mylot. It can give us a feeling of helping others. I want to receive my first BR too, haha. However, I know it is really difficult to get that. Howerver, I do know that one way to get this is to respond much more in detail and get the point. Good luck on your way to earn more BR. :)

There is no rocket science behind getting this award. You can even be surprised by seeing yourself awarded with a BR even for a simple response.
it just depends on the writer how does s/he sees your response.
Be assured your first bR is not that far frined.
