Do you have friends that get acquainted with each other online?

I used to chat a lot online with the people whom I have ever seen. I just did that for fun or to kill time. I also lied on personal details to them, because I felt that it is insecure and to give them my personal details such as phone number, name, company name etc. I do believe that many people you meet in open chat places also lie regarding their personal information. What do you say?I gave my e-mail to some people I met in online chat and had some mail contacts with them, but I never gave them a chance to meet me....and now I stopped all those email contacts because I got married and they were not good friends of me. The reason why I have hidden my personal information is most of the people who meet in online chat comes there to flurt or have ugly converstation with opposite gender. So,it is really hard to find a good person and it is difficult that even if someone appears as good, how much you can trust that person.

Yes, l got a friend whom had met her loved one through ICQ. They got to know each other while doing some normal chatting. Everyday they chat together until they got hooked-up together. Now, they are a happy couple, living together happily.

Yes, of course, i have the friends online. MSN and ICQ. Many of my classmates on the line, we communicate online each other. I think that's the most convinent way for us to contact. Happy mylotting.
