LG Viewty problem...

I had bought the 5mp lg viewty in aug 2008...but in January 2009 it started displaying no network.When i put the sim in another handset it was working fine,so i guess there is spmething wrong with my viewty.i can use all other features except calling and messaging.it has been showing s same message till now.Please help...

Is this the one LG U990? If it is, have go that phone. The reason why I had got the phone was because it had very little problems with it. I had a choice of 3 phones. Nokia had a phone but it over heats with useage. The next choice was another phone. That had problems freezing up. When I did a search on the LG, there was no problems. This is the first time I had heard of problems. The only thing I could suggest, take it back to the shop you got it from and see what they say.

Ah, I know that one too. But I had not done any reseach on it because the cell phone provider I go through didn't have that on offer for the plan I wanted. I have seen the KU990 in all the shops catalogues. Looks very simular to the U990. The only difference is the look of the buttons at the bottom of the phone. See if your phone provider could exchange it to U990 if you want to. I know it is going back wards because of the specs. The camera is 5.1 megapixals for the KU990 and it is 5 megapixals for the U990. For me, it was hard to get. I went to 2 stores and they didn't have it. I range my phone provider and asked if another store had it. I went to the store, and got it. The sales people said the U990 is very popular. I told them about my choices and problems with each phone. I have had it for a month and really happy with it so far. But that is so far. There are people who have had the U990 alot longer and had no problems. It it totally up to you. I would suggest to take the KU990 back and see what they say.
