Plastic surgery... NOSE JOBS!

What do you think about people who get nose jobs? Without considering whether you think it's a waste of money, do you look down on people who get nose jobs as being vain? Do you think it's okay to get your nose fixed if it makes you feel better about yourself? Or do you think it means you're not presenting your true self to the world? Also, are there any guys who would like to share what they think about women who get nose jobs and other cosmetic surgeries?

A nose job isn't for me, but if it makes someone happy then more power to them. More power to someone who wants to get things done to make them feel better. I like how I look and wouldn't change anything, but I know there are people who would want to change a few things about themselves. I don't think it means people are hiding their true selves or anything like that. Maybe it is helping ech person be able to show who they really are.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to get a nose job. Not all of them are for vanity. I used to train horses and have had my nose broke (at the bridge) 3 times in my life. I had it 'set' each time. It's only noticible on photos if they're taken straight on, and most people don't notice it at all. I wouldn't get it done just for the vanity reason, if I did it would be because I had trouble breathing because of it. As far as the women who purely do it for vanity, if it makes them have a healthy attitude about themselves and gives them the self confidence that they need, then why not?! It's their face, and their personal choice whether to do something plastic surgery wise, or not.

I won't look down on someone who gets a nose job--if they want to great, do it. Heck--if I wanted to spend the money and I wasn't terrified of surgery then I might be tempted to get one lol. I think people have a right to be happy with themseleves, so if looking better makes them happy--I'm glad!

i don't think it ok. years later, there may be potential trouble, even vital. to do plastic surgery, one is sacrificing too much of one's health for looks.
