Izzy leaving

So, by now everyone has pretty much figured out that Izzy is sick and you could figure this out many, MANY episodes ago. They didn't cover this up very much and it would actually make for some very tantalizing episodes that would keep me on the edge of my seat if they hadn't released to the media that Kathryn Heigl is LEAVING THE SHOW. This completely ruined the whole storyline for me because it lets you know ahead of time that they are going to kill Izzy off. Talk about a bummer and a killer for the show!! Is this as disappointing for everyone else as this is for me??

I felt distressed about this even before the start of the season when it broke out and I thought it would just dwindle down yet the imminent disappearance is fast approaching. For sure she will get to the end of the season but I am crossing my fingers that they gonna reconsider of not removing Izzie. She's been one of the great main stay.

I read in Entertainment Weekly that just came out Friday that Izzie is no longer supposed to be leaving and that it's pretty much given that Patrick Dempsey (McDreamy) is going to be coming back and saving her. I'm starting to wonder if this was a ploy by the network to up ratings by leaving everyone thinking that Izzy would be dying so everyone would tune in to see her demise?

Yeah, it is a bummer at the thought of losing Izzy. I love the dynamic she brings to the group. I think the show can survive without her, but that orignal group will never be the same without her.

Yeah apparently there's been rumors that they aren't true but it seems pretty obvious to me that they're going to kill her off especially with the way that the last episode ended. They had the interns diagnose "patient x" who was obviously Izzy from the symptoms that she was describing and then they were saying how she would be "toast" and would basically be dying within a month.

I'm still waiting to see what happens since Shonda Rhimes, the creator, said they're not leaving. And now Patrick Dempsey is basically saying the same thing. He said as far as he knows, everyone is under contract and no one will be going anywhere for two more years. So it should be interesting to see what happens. It could go either way. It looks as if she's leaving but maybe they can save her.
My dad said he has it figured out. McDreamy will finally come back and he'll be the one that saves Izzy. I guess we'll just see what happens!

It is actually a bit disappointing, it always is when a character leaves a show. I felt bad when Burke was gone but his circumstances for leaving are pretty valid. They said the actor playing Burke had a friction with the actor playing O'Mally. Reports say that he called the actor playing O'Mally a fagot and the other actors in the show reacted on that, making him everyone's enemy. So, what's the reason behind Katherine Heigl's leaving the show? What could be the reason this time?

So far I've heard that there were disputes about her pay; she almost didn't come back this season because the network wasn't going to pay her what she wanted. I heard that O'Malley will be leaving this season too actually.

I'm still pissed that they killed off Denny. I loved his character so much and I loved him and Izzy together. It sucks when they start killing off characters who have been there since the beginning of the show. I don't like the whole girl on girl action either, I find it rather boring.

They made that a little weird since Callie was previously married to George and is now doing the lesbian thing. They're going to soap opera with this and not drama enough.

I love Izzy and hope she doesn't leave. I like the idea that Derick comes back and saves her, that is a good story line. I don't think the show will be the same without her.
