Do you wish you could have a year of no finance charges on your credit cards?

I wish I had an opportunity of no finance charges on my credit cards for a year. I feel I'd get it paid down a lot faster if these chargers weren't added on. Of course, we don't have this option. Maybe if the credit cards made a deal with you that if you didn't the card paid off in that time frame, you'd still have to pay the charges. If you did get the card paid off, you wouldn't have to pay the charges.

Every credit card has different options. Maybe you should shop around for one that doesn't have so many charges. I pay an annual fee for my visa card and don't have to pay all those charges. Just interest on my outstanding balance.

I am talking about the interest that you get if you have an outstanding balance. I'm not talking about the fees that some cards are charged, like if you have to pay annual or monthly fees.

I think there actually are cards that offer this - those 0% offers on balance transfers that I've heard other people get. Then they have a certain number of months to pay off the balance, or they'll get charged interest for the entire time. I would definitely get my credit cards paid down faster if interest didn't get charged. (then again, I might not be so motivated to throw everything possible at them).

At last the bank people does the same. I mean what if a person is paying and paying and paying but can't get rid of the CC payment. We can have a talk with them to make us relax a bit. These days I am under great debt of Credit card. I want to get rid off it asap but with the charges, I can't!
