I do have a Twitter account, and occasionally even use it. I just don't understand the excitement over this phenomenon, however. You can only put a limited amount of information online at any one time, basically about one sentence. How much substance can you get out of that?
So far, I just haven't been able to see the benefit, although I have hooked up with things that I am interested in (like museums, other people, interesting sites). The only positive thing so far that I see is that my writing/articles on Associated Content now appear on my Twitter page once I have published something new. But does anyone care? Even those supposedly following me?
I don't have anything against the site. I just wish I could figure out what all the fuss is about???
