hi friends.as u might have noticed,i am a member of dhoni haters club (as a wicket keeper and batsman).for the past few weeks,i was thinking to change my view about him so i will test him.if he passed,i will accept he is the best captain india has ever produced.if not, dont blame me for hating him. the test is this the best indian captain is someone who defended 183 against the mighty windies and won the world cup sucessfully. my way of seeing someone as a good captain is if he can defend a good score, not if he can win matches with some big hitting batsmen.a good captain is someone who uses the bowlers and conditions perfectly so her it goes IF DHONI CAN DEFEND A TOTAL OF 190 AGAINST A TEAM,WHICH MUST BE IN THE TOP 5 OF ICC TEAM RANKING, AND WIN IT,I WILL ACCEPT HE IS THE BEST. the main reason i always felt steve waugh as the best captain is even the team scores 133 runs,he will make the opponent team toil for runs .u say this indian team is the best and dhoni is the best.will the best come together and win the test i gave them?

I fully admit with your view. Dhoni does not deserve the praise that he is getting. Though he is the best ever wicket batsman that India has ever seen, he can not be said as a good captain. Until now luck is with him more than anyone else. There is no instance, at least as I know, that Dhoni's boys has defended a small score.

Dhoni is one of the best captains India has produced so far. And he is proving that in every match he played as a captain. The recent Newzealand - India ongoing series is the best example to support my view. The whole Indian team is inspired by his grit, spirit, and detrmination shown so far.

I am not a Dhoni hater, but definitely feel he is not India's best captain. To me its Saurav Ganguly who has proved to be the best Indian captain of all time. Dhoni has a lot to prove. In the recent India tour of Sri Lanka, it was purely luck that he was able to win the toss and elect to bat to win the 4 matches. He lost the toss in the last match and India lost the match.
