Hi all I have made a big decission in my life, well depends on how you look at it.. I think it is very important for my health that I stop drinking cola. I drank a bottle each day, and it was about 2500 calories, just from the cola.. You can imagine how much calories I get each day, if I add my food to that :D I can tell you, too much, I think about 4000-5000, depending on my day ;) I hope this will change my life and make a little bit more healthy :D Now I was wondering how much calories an adult male needs.. Thx

Good for you! Your daily calorie need depend upon your height, weight, age, gender, and daily physical activity. You could browse the net for calorie calculators so you could have an idea. Try this one: http://www.scientificpsychic.com/fitness/diet.html

Hi, any change in Life is first CONFRONTED. But not all changes are Bad.(as in Ur case!) Just before U finally STOP Cola, do this experiment. Drop the content(Cola) in Ur dirty toilet.See it will turn it White. The acid content making it(toilet) Clean. Think, what action it is having on Ur stomach-linings! Sure, this will help U further to say 'NO' to Cola, finally! =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.

I don't have the habbit of having colas or any drinks frequently. But it is really shocking to know the calories they add. A real concerning news. And good to hear, you decided to skip it. Ginger has the ability to induce the digestion system and we can really burn the extra calories. If you add a little bit of ginger daily to your food, you can feel the difference. Burn the extra calories, no diabetes. Even diabetes people can take ginger to maintain their sugar level.

I gave up Cola, and sugared drinks Many Years ago, and have never looked back. The sugar and acid that's incorporated in these drinks are poison to the system. Colas are good for washing the bugs off your windshield, or dissolving an iron nail over night, but they are no good for your health. I also watch my food intake very carefully. I never buy Prepared, ready-to-eat food, because its loaded with preservatives to lengthen shelf life in the store. What will these preservatives do for my health?
