What are you goals or ambitions in life?

I am just curious as to what others have as goals or ambitions in life, or just something that they want to do in life. I really want to go to west africa for a few years, and just live off the land, be one with nature again.

Well, as I was still student I always wanted to be either a college or a university lecturer or say professor and that goal of mine has been attained already as I am in it already. Now my son is 7 years old and I want him to be graduated from the Oxford University. If he succeeds in his mission as well as mine my goal or mission in life would be fulfilled for I am not over ambitious a person myself.

1. To travel around the world. That was achieved when I was 20 to 21 years old. 2. To pass my driving test. 3. To buy a house. That was achieved when I was 19 and then I sold it and bought another a few years ago. 4. To publish a novel. 5. To have a daughter. I am currently pregnant and the scan said a girl. 6. To get a dog. That has been achieved a few years ago. I have two dogs so that is double the pleasure.

I am a 23 year old final year engineering student and a passionate chess player. My primary ambition is to get a secure job in a Public Sector Undertaking, for which I am preparing these days. Side by side, I also want to improve my game and I want to reach the title of at least an International Master(IM) by FIDE.

Dreams...to be a professional concert pianist, and professional photographer. But those are just dreams. Goals...to be a perfect (Haha) wife and mother to several children. I would also love to visit another country, though I'm not picky about which one. Also another goal is to play the piano like a pro...even if I'm never actually considered a professional. I'm pretty advanced as it is, just need to work on the sight reading ;). So those are my goals.

i like to set short term goals and achieve them. as a student i wished to stand first in class. struggled to achieve it and finally stood first in my post graduation. now, i wish to do well in my career. m trying to reach certain heighhts, moving on the path.. lets see how far i can go. well, i have read some inspirational and phylosophical books. each of them say that we are born for a purpose and to recognise that purpose is very important for us. from a past few months, my ambitions and desires are shifting. i really, spend some time to think and search my purpose of taking birth.

Well, I wanted to pursue everything in life for my family. I would enjoy lots of things that I've never experienced in my whole life but still my number one goal is to make my parents proud and happy.
