is it an advantage? did you get any from it already?
i got mine maybe around seven years ago and i got a lot of advantages already. i got a few gift cheques already that we use to buy again and sometimes we give it as a gift. specially for teen inaanak that is hard to think what would they like to get on Christmas day. do you have an Sm advantage card? did you enjoy using it?

Yes I do. I got it four years ago. I recieved one gift cheques and bought an umbrella from the accumulated points. There were some items that are included in discounts and I had the chance to avail it.

the items together with the discounts are what me and my wife enjoy having. we use it more on groceries or supermarket. we do get something for free and plus they are giving this free shopping bag that if used during grocery will get plus two more points. so everytime we go to the supermarket we bring this shopping bags from SM for addtional points.

will they give me this bag for free. or do i have to buy at first. anyways, is it better to use it than having a plastic bag for groceries. anyways, two points would be a big help to increase my points.

you have to buy something from the supermarket first before you avail it. It is reusable anyway. Better to use it than plastic bag, right.

i always go to sm. then it would be really cool to use this always. i have just started to use my sm advantage card this day. it was bought a month ago. hopefully i will earn a lot of points. i don't know those freebies or those gift cheque. when i bought this one i don't think it has any freebies with it. but i have not claimed yet my real card. it is just the temporary card. i will just have to claim my real card next time i will be going in SM.
seems that it is not bad to have this card. don't this card expire after a year and i have to pay for it again. or is it just one time payment and that i can use for a long time.

well until now i have not claimed my free sm advantage card. i will do as soon as i have the time to. and hopefully there are really some cool freebies that i can claim or use on this one.

I got an advantage card when I was still working @ SM. But my wife lost it or didn't able to renew it so I don't have it now, though my wife has. So far we were not able to enjoy its benefits yet.

thats sad. you can surf thenet to find more on how you will enjoy your SM Advantage card. they even give insurance for i receive a text message stating that they granted me an insurance that i think will last for a year. http://www.smadvantage.com.ph/smac/index.php?p=270

yes i have and i enjoy this card because i was able to earn points and if i get higher points i was able to convert it into pesos or maybe use it to purchase things from SM. i guess most of the Filipinos have SM advantage card.

Yes i agree that most of the filipinos have already SM advantage card, and that is the reason why other malls are trying to imitate it. I can see that even shop wise has it already. i think robinson has it also but i am not much sure of it. thanks a lot for the response

hello everyone... i have an advantage card too... but i dont really know how it works.. i just have it for around 6 months..i just hope i could also avail of the advantages soon... but right now i just shop and collect all the points i can get....

there is a flier or a pamplet together with the card as you claim it and you can see from that booklet how and where can you use it and of course you can also see from there how can you get gift cheques. you can look at here for more info

well, i don't have an sm advantage card but i often go shopping. my aunts have one and i know how it works. we often get gift checks and use them to buy the things we need. you can also use your card for refueling your car. when you use it, you get a certain percentage of discount which is very helpful because of the high prices of fuels. you can also use your advantage card to buy gifts for your relatives that you will give them on occasions. i am sure that everyone who get an sm advantage card will surely enjoy the benefits that it gives us. i am thinking to get a card for myself and enjoy its offers for my future needs. that is all i can say about your topic. thanks for asking and enjoy your summer! take care and Godbless!

yes it has an expiry date but you can still renew it and the points you gained can be transfered at the new card. just bring it always so you can have points even for little items you can buy. it can be accumulated then you can use it when you have enough points already. you can also use it when buying something at watson or red ribbon. thanks a lot for the response

Yes, I have am SM Advantage card. We have already used the amount to buy also some gifts for Christmas. It's a good card when you do your shopping most of the time from SM malls, but it is not if you don't shop regularly at SM. With the current economic situation, shopping at SM is not very advantageous and so I am not using my SM advantage card now. Hopefully the situation gets better soon.

happy to hear that you really get a good advantage as what SM advantage card has promised. but like you said hope the situation gets better. me and wife still go to SM for grocery though we cut ths shopping of clothes and some other stuffs. the food and the grocery needs like soap we still get it at SM. thanks a lot for the response

Yes we do have an SM advantage card. My mom has one and so is my boyfriend borg. I am so into getting freebies that I always remind them to use their advantage card even if they only use it for a small purchase. I think my mom used her points to pay for her purchase and I think my boyfriend haven't used his points yet.

Yes i have it and the same with other i didn't use it. I don't have more money to shop at sm nowadays because of my three kids studying in college high school and elem. Yeah, I have one. But, I just had recently and so far the only freebie that I got a free movie pass which is cool though, I'm not complaining

my wife gets annoyed if we have one and find out that we left it at home. the SM advantage card that we have is under my name so she mostly get annoyed to me if i left it at home. har har har. my wife is not a shopaholic but we love going to the supermarket and buy what we need for the house and food oc course. thanks a lot for the response

yes i have one and i use it every time i shop for groceries. i actually have two but i gave the other one to my mom and she uses it every time she buys something from sm or in any of its affiliate stores.
i just convert the points into rebates instead of getting prizes like gift cheques. anyway, the card indeed lives up to its name and i'm glad sm came up with this card.

WOW so coo, and yes i agree that SM lives ups to its name as advantage and now i can see that most of the malls are trying to imitate the advantage card. even shopwise has this card already that gets points and gives freebies. we really did had a big advantage with the SM card and thanks a lot for the response

Yes, I have an advantage card. And I guess it is really an advantage.
You can use the points by paying what you bought.
And there are a lot of freebies in the establishments they have tied-up
For example at Jollibee, we get to have a free yum burger or sundae when we order food there
And last sunday, I claimed 5 free tokens at Worlds of Fun.
So it is really an advantage.

my wife bought two open shoe sandals and got a multi functional foot bath because i have a SM Advantage card. the foot bath was for free. its the one were you deep your feet when you are having a foot spa. my wife loves giving me foot spa so she was very happy when we got that. I think because i see her happy for what we got for free it was really worth to have an advantage card from SM.

Hellow se7enthbird, well as i know having a sm advantage card is really great because you can save more money when buying goods and products. You can also earn discounts in every purchased. Well you can also get a free gift or you can make gift to your inaanak which is good to save money because of that offers. Well me i don't have a SM advantage card,but if ever i have this i will use it and do not waste in none sense things. . . during the times that me and my wife has no baby yet we also enjoy the priveledges for the movies together with friends. but now that we have a three year old child we no longer watch movie we just wait it on the dvd then enjoy watching it at home. thanks for teh response you should get one again.
