Not A Referral Link http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,509206,00.html These people filmed themselves doing very bad things to kids as young as 2 MONTHS. How does anyone think that's OK? How do they live with themselves? How do we protect our kids when they have no voice for themselves? Crimes against kids seem to be on the rise... or at least are being on the news and in our faces. If our kids are getting injured so is our future. Thoughts guys and gals?

Where has respect gone, respect for life? I just can't bring myself to believe that all this was going on before but it was covered up and only now are we hearing about it, that is just not posssible. There have been cases here in Italy of staff at a nursery school abusing the children. If our kids are not safe with them then what is the world coming too???

They want and need Mothers to go out and work. But when we do, this is what can happen. And people wonder why I want to work from home? And school shootings, and stranger abductions, and..... darn it all the world is scary for adults... I hate to see it get that way for the kids.

I'm not thinking this is what they were seeing for the future. Poor women had no clue what the world would come to.

I don't understand why someone would want to do such things to kids; kids are innocent and I don't see what pleasure someone could get out of a kid in that nature it's gross. I think that we as a nation aren't doing enough to protect your children. We say we care about kids, but many times people who commit such crimes gets out of jail very soon. Some judges let them go with a slap on the wrist, it's becoming more and more acceptable to have strangers watching our kids, or sending them to daycare's not know what type of person is being hired at those places.

That's what I think to their are a lot of studies that shows that people like that who have commit those types of crimes will do it again , so it is rather stupid to let them out of jail. Also, in some cases children who are sexually abuse sometimes when they get older become the abuser or protects kids from those types of things. There is know why to see how the child will turn out after, so for parents who's child has been sexually assaulted should have their child seek psychological help in order to make sure that they don't grow up to be abusers themselves.

This is truly sickening chimes sweety and I just cannot understand how anyone can do this to children -especially women! I am not blaming the parents , not in any way but we have to be vigilant and pay careful attention to those we trust with out kids andlook out to make sure that our kids are comfortable with them. I think thesr people should never be allowed to see the light of day again - there is too much stock set on Human rights , what about the human rights of the victim? It is about time we started protecting the vulnerable in our societies and worrying about their safety than the freedom of those who have already proven a threat to that! This couple had a daughter - I shudder at what she may well have gone through! xxx

Yep I agree! Human rights are important but there are so many places that the human rights protesters should be concentrating on - where people really need the help for serious issues! xxx

Human rights I don't mind.... Idiots who Abuse are not human and deserve to be treated as they treat others. Victims and potential victims should be protected. As it normally is... we are in complete agreement.

Draw and quarter them in the town square while the general public throws rotten tomatoes at them. Sometimes the medieval punishments are the best for crimes like this!

Mine too. Have you ever seen anyone drawn and quartered? *shudders* It's pretty bad. I love to see offenders castrated, but they'd bleed out before the real punishment started......

Sparks, you are too nice. There should be a bit of castration, and such before the draw and quartering. Can you tell that kids are one of my major soft spots?

People in this world are just sick. I can't believe that anyone would do that, and the shocking part was at the end of the article when it said that the couple have a child! What kind of a mother or father, A PARENT would do this? It's sickening to even think of. I hope that people like this are made examples of, and will teach people that things like this are wrong, and they need to get help! I appreciate you sharing this with all of us, no matter how gruesome it is!

If we don't know what the dangers are how can we prevent them? That's why I share this scary nasty things. It's like another poster started a discussion about rape in Africa that I wasn't aware of and there are people here that I know would like to add their voice to fighting it. It's easier to protect our kids if we know whats out there. If the monsters have a face and .... well, you know what I mean I bet.

Wow... That is horrible. I read somewhere that because of the actions listed in the discussion above and activities relating to that, Rome has fallen. I hope America would not fall because their citizens are becoming more and more showy. Most of the people here in MyLot are all born in America, including me, and we all love America. Lets hope that America will live long and not fall like the Roman Empires.

If people were able to go back to a few old ways that kept morals high and crime in check then maybe we could save America. I hear something hoorible every day and it makes my heart hurt and my mind worry.

Not only should these babysitters be locked up, but the keys to their cells need to be thrown away. Molesting innocent children is absolutely the worst thing anyone can do, especially people who are being entrusted with their care. Of course, pedophiles often receive "prison justice" from the other inmates who detest them as much as everyone else does. I look at my little grandchildren, and they are so sweet I wonder how anyone could hurt them.

It's even worse when parents do it. These folks had a child. Can you imagine her life from here on out, what it was like before, and what her adult life will be like? Poor girl.

Trusting people is getting harder and harder to do these days. One of the kids was your son's age.... how does that work? How can an adult find that interesting and need to do that? I can't get my head around how sick that is.

Hi TLChimes, It is very sad to hear of such things happening and perhaps we will never understand why some people do such things. You and I and most others would not be able to live with ourselves if we were to hurt a young child like that. For some reason which we are not able to fathom, everyone don't feel the same way. Is it because of something that happens in early childhood? Are they born with something that causes them to think and act different from most? All we can do it seems is to be careful of who is taking care of our kids. Blessings.

VERY careful of who takes care of our kids.... and I can't even understand how they can think of it, let alone do it, let alone videoing it. What happened that there was not one person but two that could hook up and then have a child together as well. My heart hurts for that child... can you imagine how hard her life is going to be?

I read about this elsewhere. Just awful. It's probably abuse that happened when they were children and it just gets perpetuated. We need a better way to stop the cycle. But meanwhile I'm glad that these people have been put away. Sad for the children though.

I can't imagine what their own child has to live with. I can only hope that things improve for her with a new and loving home.... I hope she doesn't get lost in the system somewhere.

this is the very reason i work around my husbands hours . i am gone earley morning hours and back home before it is time for him to go to work.i know some people hurt kids and i am not going to give them a chance to hurt mine.some people dont want to give up jobs that are day hours but you know what i do not care what i do as long as it is legal and clean. i will hold jobs that are best for my children.i dont even want to think about what would happen if some one hurt my triplets.

This is sick. Kids should have been protected. I prefer my parents doing the parenting. As this always happens, if in case, my parents can't help me on this, I may hire a babysitter and I will install a video cam in my house, which can monitor the babysitter.

Isn't it sad what we have to do to protect the young. You could hire a sitter from the neighborhood when my parents were young.... now you can't trust the guy you've known since you were 12. I guess at least if we have our parents do it, we already know what to expect.

Sickening!!! These kind of predators are the worst! I guess every parent should have a hidden camera so they can find out who is trustworthy. Either that, or never leave their kids. what a world we live in!

Sad that we have to be that overly careful as to hide cammeras in clocks and teddy bears. I hardly ever get away without one or more of my kids and only the parents who raised either my husband or I sit for us. I miss alot but gain more. Peace of mind tops the list.

For these people and any kind of child molesters I think that before they go to jail they should be locked in a room unarmed for a few hours with 10 or 15 people, who had been molested as children, and who are armed with knives, clubs, etc., etc. Let the victims take out their pain, humiliation and frustration on these low life. Then they can go to jail where they can also be treated with outrage and contempt by the other inmates.

A new use for the scarlet letter... and I think that after past victims are done, the parents should have a go, then let them walk around with that scarlet letter and see how many other inmates like them. I do like your thinking, my friend, but you knew that already.

Geez.... that is sick. There are so many people out there that deserve a harsher punishment than they get. That is one of the worst things I can think of in our society. Personally they should get some of the worse punishments for harming children.

Hi TLChimes, That is so disgusting and sad that people can do that to a child and babysitters should be fetted before they are hired and sometimes I find that they are too young to be babysitting, I feel sorry for the babaies. Tamara.

Tamara, You are very right that people doing that is horrid and that it's a shame we have to be so very careful of who we let out kids be around. I remember babysitting when I was a young teen but my parents were there as back up and kept an eye out on all that went on. Times sure have changed.

I think the two of them should be disposed of very slowley and very painfully. The children they done that to are going to be in pain the rest of there live. that is not fair to any age child.let alone one that can not speak and tell what happened to them.

You are very very right.... very slowly, very painfully is almost too good for them. You are also right that those poor kids will suffer forever for what happened to them. I can't imagine what their own daughter went through. I will never understand how any onr can do that to any child but it's harder to understand how they could do it to their own child.
