Help me, What's good web hosting ?

Hi arief234, That's a question without an easy answer, but I can try to help you narrow down your choices. 1. What would you like to publish?A blog, a product catalog. 2. What technology platform will you use?PHP, Java, ASP.NET? This question will probably narrow down your choices on the web-hosting company. A lot of them offer these three platforms I've mentioned, but if you need something else, you need to look at each offering. I myself use godaddy.com and hostgator to host 3 websites. 3. Where is your target audience? Will you target local users just from Indonesia? If so, it could make sense to get a domain name on the .id TLD, and also a hosting local to Indonesia. If on the other hand, you intend to target international users, then that's a different consideration. I preferred the hosting services based in the US, because the prices were very competitive, and I'm quite familiar dealing with phone support and email support (when there's something I need configured on my servers). Lastly, price consideration...When I ran my comparisons, godaddy was among the cheapest hosting providers that I felt I would be comfortable having -- a couple of people referred their services to me. So my advice would be, to write down the things you think matter to you in web hosting i.e. price per month, which technology to use, support office hours, will they give you email boxes and host it as well, will they give you subdomains, available hard drive space, allocated bandwidth per month, will they charge you extra if you opt for private registration (private registration is when someone looks up your site using the whois service, your name can appear publicly). if you post some more information, I can narrow down my advice to you. thanks

you can try freewebs if you like, its kinda more complicated than blogs theres also blogger if you like a blog style

so a little search on internet and you will find tons of hosting services and most of them are equally good. thier prices are also alike , so you dont need to dig deep to search for a particular hosting service
