I Can See And Feel The Results!!

Most of you already know that I've been trying to lose weight. To date, I have lost 30 pounds in the past 2 months. I've done it by combining healthy eating with exercise. Now, sometimes you can see that the numbers on the scales are going down, but you don't see or feel the results of the toning of your body. But I can honestly say that I'm starting to see and feel the results now and it is very exciting! If you have ever lost weight or are currently trying to lose weight then you know exactly how it feels. It sounds crazy, but when I take a shower and I'm washing, I can feel a difference in how my body is shaped and when I look in the mirror, I can see the changes that my body is making. Yes, I still have a long way to go, but man, seeing and feeling the changes just make me want to work harder and harder. Are you trying to lose weight and you are starting to see and feel the results of all your hard work? It's great, isn't it?

I'm glad it's working for you girl! I haven't felt like that in 10 yrs since I lost my last substantial amount of weight. Unfortunatly, I don't expect to ever get to my ideal weight ever so I"m ok with the plateau I'm at as I've been similar sz for 20yrs now. But I plan when temps go up to do more walking againg but I know it won't help much as it's not intense enough for my body to drop the weight but every lil bit helps in one aspect or another.

Well, walking is good for you. It's great exercise, even if you don't lose any weight by doing it. It is great that you want to get out and walk.

I'd walk more but I live on a deadend road surrounded by a 5 & 8 lane hwy w/o sidewalks. So when I drop my kids off at school I"ll take my lil guy for a walk to one of the nearby parks.... I'm so itching to get outside when it warms up in the next month or so. I know what it'll take to do it again, but I don't have the dedication it takes to get to the gym that's now 35min away instead of 5min that doesn't have child care (not that I could afford it) and I basically lived there. I used to work out 2-3hrs a day 7 days a week that's how I lost it last time.

So what is it you are doing to lose the weight? I too would love to lose more weight but my will power is next to nil. What do you do when will power sends you to the fridge or nearly.

Well a couple of months ago I decided I didn't like looking at my middle...so I made a conscience effort to just cut back....I have lost 15 lbs...and it does make a huge difference. In fact I hadn't noticed I was losing that much on till someone said something to me and I finally weighted myself....I am stuck now for a couple of weeks....but hopefully will start again....but if I don't it's okay...I wouldn't want to lose anymore then 5 more pounds. But I truly know what you mean! It's fun too to put on clothes and look so much better in them! Congrats on the weight loss!

Hi singlemommy, Congratulations! It seems that you are doing well and I believe that you are going about it in the right way. Healthy eating and exercise is always the best way to go about losing weight. The fact that you are feeling good about yourself also says a lot about what's happening. I also needed to lose about twenty- five pounds and so far have lost five, I know it's not a lot but I'm determined not to give up until I'm at my right weight. I know that I will feel better too. Keep up the good work. Blessings.

30 pounds is a great milestone to brag about. Give yourself a huge pat on the back and keep up the great work. Feeling good about yourself is the most important aspect of losing weight, if you get discouraged the weight is harder to get off. Keep your chin up and keep on keepin on!

This is going far, and means a lot... I need a cup of coffee and some good stuff, with a little work I get my exercise in what I do day to day... Work can work... Yuck...

That is certainly great. I am glad that its working perfectly fine for you. It really pays to be well physically. Of course, when you feel good you will also feel great mentally. I have been in similar situations when I do work out and when I am not. There are times that I am not so occupied with work that I have time to do exercise and its a very nice feeling as you move, you feel light with endurance as compared when you don't have exercise. You easily get tired. So congrats and keep it up!

Good for you!! I remember how that feels and it's wonderful! I lost quit a bit of weight a couple years ago but put back 40 pounds of it over the past two years. Today is "healthy" day, a start to an improved food program that is healthy for me. I can't wait to start seeing results, it's always fun to get on the scale and see less than the week before. You keep up the good work, you're losing as a pretty healthy rate-not too fast and not too slow. I'll be cheering for you!

I love testimonies like yours. I love to see people overcoming and gaining victory over obesity. I love it when I hear someone like you who was able to lose weight and is now feeling great. I have never been into weight problem as I've been a health buff all my life. But I am sad for my niece and her daughter who are both obese and would not hear my advice to start doing something about their excess baggage. I know obesity could kill but they simply laugh it off. I know that they will regret this later in their life. I hope they they could follow what you do the soonest possible time. It's great to be in perfect weight, size and shape. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

What I discover about my body is that when I feel happy I loose weight with no hard work. I also discovered that the more I fight to loose weight the less it works. it´s a bit like this... I work hard to loose weight then all of a sudden I get tired and stop all the hard work and then everything get back to the start. So what I do is try to live healthy and when i see I simply have my body the way I wanted. It´s amazing but in one month that I am not working and all the stress is gone I lost more than 4 kilos doing nothing different from what I normally do, simply the stress went away and some kilos too... lol.

That's great! I'm happy for you. The most I ever lost was 20lbs in 2 weeks. I was using one of those AbLounges 3 times a day and eating nothing but sushi. Not exactly healthy I'm sure but it worked. I too have got more to lose, but I am glad to hear you are combining healthy food W/ EXERCISE! In my opinion that is very important! Once again congrats to you and good luck for the rest of the way:)
