Like all the other days in a week, Sunday is also a Day. But, we humans are eagerly waiting for the Saturday Evenings and Sundays. Is there any reason behind it? Even myself, in the Monday Morning, I will be fresh, when the next day comes (Tuesday), I will be looking forward for the Saturday noon and Sundays. I am just, waiting for the weekend holidays. Only the weekend holiday only makes the Sunday more special to me. What about your guyz and gurlz?? You have the same reason or you have a different one behind Sundayz???

Heya, I guess its more of the religious and political kinda thing. I mean Sunday is said to have been when the Lord rested in making his creations. As for political, the government mandates that working hours are normally on the weekdays. So Sunday is a part of the weekend, which means rest day, no classes, no work, nothing to do much really. Unless the things that you want to do.^_^ I like sundays cause its the only day that's sure that I dont have anything to do.No appointments, meetings, projects, work/study in general. Its when I get to relax and just lounge around, especially when I had a busy week.^_^

Mostly everybody doesn't work on Sundays which is also the best time to spend some quality time with our family or special someone

i think it because its the norm to workchool/s 9-5 monday to friday and no work on the weekend, so majority of people can't wait till the weekend. Sunday to me is a quiet day because if you look outside there is hardly anyone about, it is literally a day of rest, for me i'm at uni 9-6 mon-fri and work sat and sun so i enjoy sunday evening because its me only bit of chill time before i start the week again

Well that Sunday is a holiday goes back to the Old Testament. In the world only in Poland that Sunday is not observed as Holiday. In the Old Testament it is written that when God took the task of creation he created men on the sixth day and that is Saturday and the next day He took rest, The next day was Sunday and this custom prevailed since time immemorial and you believe that even in the only one Hindu country in the world they too observe Sunday as the Holiday.
