It depends really on how cold it was kept. If it was in the deep freeze it should be fine. Here is what I found when searching online for the answer. Theoretically, when meat is frozen correctly and maintained at the optimal freezing temperature, it should stay good forever. However, it is hard to guarantee, particularly with home freezing, that the meat will remain safe and of good quality for eating. The following is a list of how long most meats can be frozen and maintain a high quality. * Bacon or sausage: one to two months * Ham, hot dogs or cold cuts: two to three months * Raw roasts, steaks or chops: four to twelve months * Raw ground meat: three to four months * Cooked meat: two to three months * Raw, whole poultry: one to two months * Raw poultry parts: nine months * Cooked poultry: four months * Raw, wild game: eight to twelve months http://www.wisegeek.com/how-long-will-frozen-meat-stay-fresh.htm

my personal opinion is to throw it away, i don't think it is good after all that time in the fridge. i'm pretty sure the meat has lost all hers proprieties, and you risk to get sick.

Hi! zabawaus! I think that it would be wise to throw it away. 7 months is like a while now. I think that it may not be too good to eat since it has been frozen that long. Don't eat it even if it looks fresh..

it is better for you to throw it. though its been on your fridge for 7 months. but still you have to be more careful in cooking meat that have been stored for months. you can be food poisoned and so its better for you to throw it in the trash. meats that are stored longer developed some green patches or molds and its dangerous to eat.

If it isnt freezer burnt, and it is sealed good, it will probably be just fine. I think that most meat can be frozen up to a year safely, but don't quote me on that. I know that I have used meat that was frozen for longer than 7 months and it was fine.
