Totally agree with the others here. You should find out her favorite food or meal and go from there. It's pretty simple to ask that and find out what she likes. Of course also make sure she doesn't have any allergies you need to know about. Having a romantic dinner only to end up in the hospital because of an allergy would not be the best think in the world. lol I would definitely try something simple to begin with. A soup of sorts. Not sure what exactly but it would be nice to have a soup with some bread toasted just right and lightly buttered.

i will give you an easy recipe, but very tasteful. you take some potatoes, four or five, wash them, without peeling it. then you make a hole in their middle, put in it salt, pepper and bit of butter. you wrap it in aluminium, put it in the oven for 30 minutes and they taste great. the recipe is easy to make and i hope you like it.

Here the trick my friend, since you don't know how to cook, first, you need to background your girlfriend what she prefer to eat alot. She is your girl so you know well what she likes, am I right? So after having a little bit of information about what she likes, here's the twist; go buy that favorite food she loves most and pretend you cooked that for her. Is that simple. No hassles,No fuzz, lol. Kidding aside, you can invite her to cook with you, I think it is much romantic really if you both cook your food, as in work together. That would be sweeter, than doing it yourself cooking till you not get it well done, and feel embarassed in the end.

I partiallly agree with the other posts here. You do need to know what she likes before cooking for any friend.. If she does not eat beef, or is allergic to cheese you should not cook with these ingredients. You may want to try to look up some online recipees.. The About website is usually a good place for this.. Some special dishes take a little extra preparation. But, I guess that depends on who you get instructions from. I also like to watch cooking shows, like the Emril show. Gormet cooking adds some class to that impression..
