It happened to me before. Usually at that time I stayed up to watch the live sports game, such as the Soccer World Cup. However, I was too sleepy at that time and therefore I couldn't help falling asleep when the TV was on. I love China

Yes, but just sometimes. It only happened when I'm very tired at home. My eyes will close even if the movie is my favourite.

my parent often caught me sleeping while watching tv every time i came from a tiring day at work.. watching tv become my sleeping pill. i easily fall to sleep when i watch TV or listening to music at home. so now i just put on the TV sleep timer so my mom wont get mad at me for leaving the tv open for whole day while im sleeping..

A few times. The quality of some programs are capable of making the most alert person fall asleep once. And on the other hand certain programs wakes you up from your slumber and makes have your eyes peeled and glued to the TV.

I pretty much can't sleep with the tv on, tho I did watch some tv while I was traveling, because I was alone and feeling a bit weird traveling alone.

Yes, it happened a lot of times. The one i can remember well is the time when i was excited for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. I waited for it for one week. When the day comes, i was laying down on the sofa. It will be shown at 9pm but the telecast was delayed. I fell asleep then when i woke up, the credits was already running! I missed the movie.

well, i did that a lot of times, when i was home, with my parents. There i had a tv that had an option to turn off when it was set. So, i was in the world of dreams, and the tv was going to turn off. But now , i`m living in another city , and here i don`t have such an option to this tv, so i turn it off before going to sleep. I do that because if i will let that on every nigh, i`ll pay more in bills of power.

SOME REASONS maybe because you're always tired but it could also be due to the fact that you're not actually paying for all electronics left on while you're traveling lol. But in my case, I can never seem to fall asleep with the TV on but it's not because of the rays from the television. It just bothers me to know that it's still on while I'm not. But here's the weird part, sometimes once I turn it off, I can't seem to fall asleep because it's off! Plus, I rarely ever sleep during the day. Except once in a while during traveling. I just love to travel!

now, i have no choice but to sleep with the tv on. on bad days i get migraine because of lack of proper sleep. my son gets to wake up suddenly when he senses the t.v. is off so i have to give in to his whims or else the whole neighborhood is going to hear a 3 year old wailing.

This kind of things happens when you least expect it. After a long hard day at work, you are tired but you still wanna watch the TV. But ends up, its not you thats watching the tv. It's the TV that's watching over you.

Yes I had fallen asleep while watching television. I lay in a big sofa and watch television. On the days, I am very tired I sleep easily while watching television. Then I wake up and switch the television after sometimes. Now a days, I set auto off on the television at around one hour or one and half hour later so that even if I fall in sleep the television gets switched off on its own.

I like to watch tv programs and tv series which I am interested only, so I could hardly fall asleep while watching these programs which are so amusing. I will fall asleep only after I have taken medicine when sick. You know when sick I feel that I am weak and tired and it is quite bored for I don’t have any mood to do any other things like reading newspapers or books or listening to music. And what I could do is just lying in the couch in front of the tv. After taking certain medicine especially a couple spoonfuls of cough mixture I would feel drowsy and fall asleep easily.

When u stay at hotels while traveling ensure to lock the doors before watching TV. You know the reason..... It happens commonly to everyone when tired. But females are more alert than males while sleeping.

manya_pearl, Once in a while, this will happen when I am overseas and trying to overcome jet lag as getting to sleep in a relatively new environment and time difference can be quite difficult. So, with the television broadcasting familiar sitcoms, serials or shows would be relatively relaxing and brings about sleep much easily. However, it will be different when I am back home, I suppose I am the familiarity type. Watching television at home means family time for me, where everyone of us will be watching together in the living room with snacks and refreshments. It just miss home when I am overseas over an extended period. Sky.

Yes, i have exhausted my bed when i travel outside the city while watching TV. Due to fatigue due to travel that far, and eventually forget to turn off the TV. I usually never sleep when not tired, because when i was kid usually sleep at night. But now is different, i am very easy fatigue.
