I may be blind or dense, but I am not able to see how to accept a task.

I'm sitting on ANGER right now. I looked at a task and didn't accept it first. I researched and wrote a great article. When I went to accept it my stupid DSL went out. When it came right back on, the task is NO longer there. I was so mad I could have chewed 10 penny nails as they used to say! Looks like you and I must have done the same thing! Very frustrating! I did take another task, and have sent it in with no problems. Just waiting to see if it is accepted. The way I did was keep the page on my monitor while I wrote in Word and then just pasted it in there. IF it is accepted when you hit accept task, a white box will then appear for you to paste into when you come back.

I dont know but the same thing happened to me. I thought I had done such a good job and I try to accept task and nothing happens. Then I try to find the same task and it dissapeared.:/

You know, I did the exact same thing. I wrote this whole thing on a scanner, and when I went to stick it into the box provided, it would not accept it. So....I refreshed the page and something totally different came up! Then I went into the tasks lists and hunted all over for it and cannot find it...it's like it doesn't exist! I even tried doing an internal myLot search and couldn't find it again. The only search results that came up were sponsored results. I saved it in notepad lol. Maybe I'll find it again (but it doesn't look too hopeful hahaha) I'm not sure about how to accept either. Seems like there should be some directions that are more explanatory. Also, it would be nice if the person who's sticking these up there would have a little more than the exact same 'write (4) paragraphs about a provided topic.' If it's the crib, scanner, high chair, etc, then it should say it in the part of the post we can see. I've just spent a total of 45 minutes trying this task deal, and most of it was spent searching for the original post. (Yes...I went through ALL those pages lol!!!) I quit! Too bad, I have a nice write-up too, but I doubt it'll ever get submitted now!

I would contact Mylot, reguardless of whether or not you accepted the task, it should be here. I haven't tried because the task starts with downloading a toolbar and that usually spells trouble for my computer, I have enough toolbars already. I hope someone else can help you. I'm waiting for a tast that is more acceptable to me.

did u see what oreo cookie wrote about it? she wrote the paragraphs & it would not accept hers. i looked at it but didn't write anything.

If everyone is having so much trouble with this "task" thing, I think I will just skip it until all the bugs are ironed out. It sounds way too complicated for my feeble brain. Best wishes!

Personally I have not been able to figure out the Tasks thing for sure. I think they need to explain it more for us, etc. and give us more of a chance to post back to it. And for those of us who work days most of the time when I get home from work and want to post back on any of the Tasks there is not many left there as well. So I am not sure what we are to do on it for sure.

I went to one of them, and checked it out. There was a box for you to put content in and a accept task button. I am not going to do anything with it until I get back from my sons surgery, as we leave Wed.. Good luck and hope all the bugs are worked out by then.

I am worst than you I couldn't even figure out what the task wanted, I can't be bothered with that. I think there are too many clitches in that stupid thing.

I tried the download and it came up page not found. The accept the task was a red spot bottom right after the request to review the down load. Anyway i need help also
