Do you still celebrate your birthdays with grand parties? How do you celebrate your birthdays? Do you still burn candles on your birthdays? I do celebrate my birthday but no throwing grand parties like before, no inviting any one. I spend my birthday just with my family. My favorite dishes are made. I get some surprise gifts. I have lunch at home and candlelight dinner at some good restaurant with my wife where we have a great time. We go for shopping before that and I am forced to buy things that I like the most by my wife. My friends do call me up and gives me good wishes. How about you. What's special about your birthday party?

I am most happiest when I just spend some my birthday with friends and just sitting together. I don't need a big grand event or anything. Nothing big and spectacular. Simplicity is the things i like the most.

I do not really celebrate my birthday. I have two little ones so I do get a cake. They would be heartbroken if we did not have cake. We usually got out to eat someplace nice as a family. As far as gifts, my mom usually gives me money and my husband tells me to buy what I want or need. Usually I do not buy anything because I really do not need anything.

Not really it get less grand as i get older. When I was younger, I do celebrate my birthday but now I just content myself with simple family dinner. Gifts are just extras for me.

Yes it gets less grand as we grow older. Birthday if fun for the younger ones. But many elder people too till now celebrate their birthdays having a grand party.
