I prefer to use Paypal. I have honestly never tried Alertpay before, but I looked into it a couple of times, since some sites only pay through alertpay. I decided not to bother with it, because I thought I wouldn't like it as much as Paypal. I think Paypal is a better service because it is available more places, and it has been around for so long that people are already familiar with it and comfortable using it.

I must admit that I've never heard of AlertPay - so if the choice is between one option that is very well known and one that I've never heard of (and I do a lot of web browsing!) I think the choice is clear :-)

Paypal is almost available in all countries (not in all countries though, but more than Alertpay) Paypal's fee structure is better than Alertpay, I think. Alertpay is charging around $5 as withdrawal fees. As they pay via cheque, again we may lose some portion as clearance charges by our banks. As they are new, it would take some more time for them to become popular as PayPal. PayPal owns e-bay too, you may be aware. There are already many people on e-bay and it would have made PayPal popular.

I prefer only Pay pal only because of its security features in transactions. PayPal is always supportive to the members like us. But Alert pay is very favor to the online sites only, in alert pay it possible for a online site,to withdraw the money from our account without our concern or knowledge, if that amount is deposited by them into our account. In pay pal this is not possible, and if a online site wish to do so, it should raise a dispute. Also the transaction chargers are more than PayPal, in alert pay.

I prefer paypal than alertpay, it's because paypal already available in my country and it's easy enough to process paypal via bank in my country. For alertpay, it's also already support through wire bank in my country, but the process is more difficult than paypal. I think paypal more popular than alertpay because alertpay still new, while paypal already known for several years. The only reason i create account in alertpay just because there are some sites that only receive alertpay.

I use it Paypal and will keep using it. Paypal is the best available option with us. The most important thing with paypal is its international service. I don't think that despite their claim, Alertpay would be sending money directly to an account in India.
