What is your opinion of Customer Service (here and anywhere else)?

I have addressed several messages to MyLot using the Send Message button (this is one of the recommended ways of contacting MyLot). The questions were clear and intelligent and correctly classified asking for policy clarification. I have given them 3 days, which should, I would have thought, be enough time for even an overworked Customer Care department to respond. Does anyone know if this route has worked in the past? I AM LOOKING FOR ANSWERS WHICH INDICATE THAT YOU HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE, whether it's the same experience of 'No Response' or that you have had correspondence from them in the past.

owlwings are you enjoying the fact that you are asking the same question over and over? Mylot is not doing any of us a disservice..they simply opened up a forum and said . "here you go, enjoy" and then to sweeten things up said "we are going to pay you for your messages" so what is it that they are really obiged too..we are not customers really..we are simply members of a message board!+

I haven't had dealings with the mylot customer care team, but I do know that certain other sites have a customer 'couldn't' care 'less' team, hopefully mlot will sort itself out when it becomes more established and hopefully it won't go the way of certain other answers sites.

I don't know about here, but if it's anything like any of the places I've had to deal with customer service, then they will either not respond, send you to different departments until you give or tell you something you already know that was nothing to do with your initial query. I can't remember the last time I had good customer service.

I don't know about o MyLot but customers service from other places is a joke. You wait ages on the telephone and then they haven't got anyone there who can deal with the issue. E-mails to the companies are usually ignored.

Most places where I've had to deal with customer service really don't provide much service. It isn't like a few years back when people cared about the quality of their dealings with their customers. Now it's pass the buck and give the customer a run-around. That's why I posted the topic I did here praising Staples for their excellent service. My experiences with Staples are rare indeed!
