Yes it was Alexis. I was kind of surprised by that. She should have taken the high note on the thrid Jolene of the chorus, I think that would have made all the difference in the world, as she sang most of the song really well. Still did not expect her to be the one to go home yesterday at all.

My daughter and I watched it last night and we were so shocked she got booted off. I thought she would be around for a lot longer. They loved her at first and thought she had a real bluesy kind of sound and she was really cute. I think that bit of pink in her hair made her more noticeable or at least unforgettable. At least that is what I thought. I thought for sure they would save her last night but then when they didn't I figured they wanted to keep this "save" thing till later in the season. Thought maybe they would regret using it too early because they can only use it once. But I thought she was good.
