Repeat Emails

I have signed up for a website for patterns for crochet. To be honest I don't crochet that much because I am busy trying to earn, but that's beside the point. I keep getting reminder emails for offers they first sent me. I find it odd because the first emails and even the first few emails stated that the offer was limited time. Well It's been atleast a month and I am still getting reminders. When I think limited time, I think a week or two, atleast when it comes to offers like these. What is your definition of "limited time" when it comes to offers about crafts?

Just opt out of their mailing list. Just go to the website again and read the terms and conditions. If there is a limited time or time frame to opt out, just configure your email client or email service to set up a folder and a filter to automatically delete the emails.

It doesn't bother me so much that I would go to that extent to avoid them. I might at one time buy what they are offering but I'm not sure yet, so until then I will allow them to come to my email inbox! I appreciate the information though!

It is just a tactic they use to create the fear of scarcity. typical sales pitch. The limited time for some sites is forever. However, there are sites that really offer limited offers but they would specify the date of expiry clearly. I have seen tons of emails that have the limited offer phrase used as a sales pitch. It is so cliched that I no longer pay attention to it. Have a nice day!

Ah, yes I usually just delete the emails now. Funny marketing scheme, but I guess it does work for some people! I appreciate the response.

This is a really good discussion baby and I am sure there are a lot of people out there who get a lot of repeat emails and I am sure there are people who like the repeat emails because they find them useful, and then I am sure there are people who find the repeat emails to be annoying and a waste of time, and they have tried several times to keep from getting repeat emails, and I remember when you told me about how you were getting repeat emails about offers, and to me it does seem kind of odd because if a thing says limited time I would think it means that it will end in a week or two at most maybe even a month but after a period of months you think the offer would end,but since the economy is so bad it seems more places are leaving a lot of things on sale, after all look at Sheplers, they have had boots on sale for at least six months now, even though they always have a count down starting at ten days and working down to one day,but after the last day the boots always seem to still be the same price,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.
