Mobile as Webcam

Have you tried your mobile phone as webcam. I am using Nokia6233 and i found a software over internet through which you can use your mobile as a webcam provided u have a bluetooth or data cable connection so that you can connect your phone to your system and attach then you can use your mobile as cam in few chat softwares. i wish to know anyone of you have ever used it. i tried but it need both server and client software and i have only server software(installed in my mobile) but no client software for my computer. can anyone help or suggest some ideas?

yes i hve used that software that uses my samsung omnia as a webcamp

did you have inbuilt function or just downloaded software for your mobile ? there is one jar/sys file which you have to put in your application folder in your phone and what i have to put in my system so that i can recognize that software from my mobile? can you let me know the procedures that you have done to use your mobile as a webcam.

Hey hi which set you are using? Its not a inbuilt function to any mobile . for that you have to search a software for ur mobile which you can do by surfing on net by putting your model no.

Hey, No I haven't personally tried calling someone with my phone using a web cam. I have seen 2 of my friends deliberately call each other, just to test out the web cam calling feature, and surprisingly it actually worked, it was really neat! Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
