Yes what a touching video. I really like it because I am an animal lover. I just wanna know if it was really true or just a camera trick. What I knew is a lion remains always a wild no matter what. But I really like what I saw in your video..thanks my friend

Yes it's true. This video was first posted on a talk show called the View about a year ago I think. They have since interviewed the men you saw which are now alot older. As you can tell it was shot in the 70's. There are originals without the music and words on youtube as well but I really liked that one because it was explanetory. Thanks foor responding and take care.

I loved it too. I was so captivated by the whole story! I am in awe too and I hate that it has takn so long for it to be televised. i watched it on the news a year ago..but it was filmed in the 70's. I cannot imagine the things between then and now that we have yet to see.

I recently saw this video on the news on TV. It brought tears to my eyes, I was so happy. It was and is, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It is unimaginable that they remembered them after all those years. They also said that lions only live for about 15 years and I didn't know that, so since this video is about 30 years old that lion is probably not alive anymore. That is what they said on TV when they showed it last week.

Your probably right about the lifespan. This was filmed in the 70's. It is amazing. I saw it a year or to ago I think. It is very touching. Thanks for responding.

Thank you so much Jen for this link! I had seen it before but it was just what I needed to see today. I'm still crying! Isn't it the most beautiful depiction of love? I am always affected by animal stories because I love them so much, I can't even bear to watch Lassie movies because I get upset when Lassie is hurt or lost! To see a wild animal like that show such love is amazing. I especially love cats and to think people tell me that they don't get attached to their owners, if Christian can love humans so much so can domestic cats!

Hi paula! I'm glad you like it..I love it too. There was a cat across the street fromm where I lived that cried every night all night. I would hear it sometimes. The owners had moved away and left it because I guess thay couldn't take it so I ended up taking it in. It was truely heart broken and would go back across the street everyday. I loved it and so did my girls and it loved us back but it always went back to see if it's other owners were home. Cats do get very attached to their owners. Thanks for responding and take care.

Beautiful!! Just goes to show how we can sometimes lower boundaries to let love in between species, breeds, etc. wild or tame. If we give love, it will be remembered and returned , even if it is years later!
