I logged in and found the task notification thingy.. I went in and picked a task I thought I could do...somthing came up and I wasnt able to get this done. Therefore abandoning a task.... Ive look to see if any other tasks were available to me the last few days and not a single one.. So my question is,once you have abandoned a task or forefited a task do you not get any more tasks after that?... Thanks

Once you have abandoned or forfeited a task, you can't choose that same task again, I believe. You can choose any other task, though. The reason why you are not seeing any tasks is because there aren't any at the moment. I wouldn't expect any to be added over the weekend (I guess that most MyLot staff do celebrate the weekend, like everybody else). They are certainly building up the Tasks section and actively canvassing for people who will supply tasks (and pay for them).

That' definitely right. There's no such penalty that if you ever abandoned one you cannot have more in the future. The only thing right now is that, the feature is still new and they are still trying to build it up and working on making more tasks to do. This also would depend on who would sponsor (whatever they called it) the task/s. As of the moment I can't see any.

Hello MikesWifey, Just to confirm what others have already said: I seriously doubt that it has anything to do with your having abandoned the task. I have accepted one task, completed it, was paid for it, and I have similarly seen no new tasks. So, I think that it's just a matter of a task shortage. Don't you wish that were the case in 'real life' -- a task shortage? Like dusting, vacuuming, the laundry ... yup I'd support that kind of shortage in a New York minute.

I don't think so. When you abandoned or decided to forfeit a certain task, the same will no longer be available for you. Probably, what happened was that there are no available tasks for you which most of us had experienced. There's no available tasks these past 2 days. Just wait for the next batch of tasks, perhaps they will be available soon because many have missed the chance to submit one. Lucky I am that I had finished a few and had been rewarded and some still pending.

Yea a couple of other people said neither have they,so I do think its the no sponsers yet for them that is keeping them away. I am REALly glad to hear that I can still do them .....when there is some n e ways hehe:) thanks for respoding
