I feel it all depends how you want your lifestyle to be. If you dont mind your parents knowing everything you do or need in life then stay with them and save all the money you can. But if you are a private and personal person then definately not, it will probablly ruin your relationship with either your parents or your signifigant other.

no, married couples should settle with their own and that's the basic rule of being married and marriage life. if your reason on why you should stick with your family despite being married is because of financial freedom for not having your own house then why get married if in the first place, you can't even get yourself a nice home to live in.

You know, we have the same situation. I am a single child too,but the different thing is i only have my mother. My father passed away when i was still two years old. I never think about wheter to live together with my parent or not. But.. Reading this discussion you've started, makes me now think about it too. Hmm, for me, maybe i will decide to live with both my mother and my husband. Because, my mom doesn't have anyone except me. Maybe you can live separately from your parent, live with your husband but try to buy or rent home which is close to your parent's home. So, you can easily visit your parent.

I feel it can be difficult living with your parents when your married. But as long as the parents dont judge or but into your marriage it could work out. I know that I could never live with my parents unless its in a mother/daughter home. I am very close with my parents now and I think living with them would destroy our relationship.
