Which one would you give up among Internet, cell phone, television?

If you had to, which one of these would you let go and why? I know, we are so intrinsically dependent on these and our lives would be miserable without any of these. But there had been a time when we had lived without these! Life was less complex, fast and happy. I know my answer, just waiting for yours. So, which one?

i would have to give up the television.. oh wait i had a choice in jan. to get rid of one of the 3. The internet i have to keep because i have online classes, the cell phne i have to keep just in case the daycare my kids attend need something so that left the TV which i only watched on thursday nights to see private practice and greys anatomy, which i can watch on fridays whenever i want to watch them on abc.com my kids are the ones who is about to go crazy without tv because they like to watch dora and spongebob alot but i did not need it distracting me from doing my house work and or homework. plus i lost my job and i had to be able to buy grocerys that week that satalite bill came out.

CELL PHONE Honestly speaking, I am already almost one (1) year don't have cell phone and about more than 10 discussions I'd participated on myLot about why I don't want to use cell phone. One of the major reasons is due to after I've had heart attack on Jan. 15, 2008. Another reason is I am testing my e-marketing by using IM and SKYPE. My answer: CELL PHONE My reason: Not a priority.

Cell phone would be the easiest for me because i am not a phone talker, and i do not have one to begin with. Then would be the television, because if i really wanted to watch something you can do it on the computer.

I would also have to say that I would let go of the telelvison. I feel that cell phone are good to have on you in case you have an emergency or someone nearby does, and if it wasnt for the internet where were this world be. Imagine if one day the internet just shut down and it was impossible for anyone to get on. Half of the world would stop in its tracks. As for the television, it could be considered a luxury.

It would be television, simply because I do not watch it that much anymore and I know that I could live without it. I could not give up my mobile phone because I keep in touch with friends through texting and my internet is my window to the world and so I am not giving that up either. Of course if I had no choice then I would manage without all of them, and take up my knitting and crafts like I used to do before I found the computer hehe!!

I don't have a television and I don't own a cell phone. I never watch TV and have never used a cell phone, so the only one I have to give up is the Internet. I did have one year with no Internet access and I did miss it, but it was probably the best year of my life because I was was not tied to a job and I could spend all my time enjoying other things. If I had to give up the Internet again it would be hard for me, but not impossible.

Hi mimpz! I think television, although I have few favourite shows that I watch everyday, but I guess I can try to find those in the internet. TV, because internet and mobile phone is the only way and best way to get in touch with my love ones.

You have a valid point there. I would love to part with the incessant ringings of my phone. At times, i feel like throwing it away! and I can manage with skype to talk to my loved ones

Television. Definitely. A cell phone for emergency's sake, and because no one would ever be able to get a hold of me and there are some people that I have to be available to twenty fours seven-particularly potential employers. The internet would be my main source of enetrtainment and information. I could websurf the rest of my life instead of channel surf. What about you?

I've never lived in a world without all three of those, but I think that enjoy it. I know that when I lost my internet a few months ago I did alot more than usual. I don't tend to get boggeed down with my cell and generally dislike most of what's on tv... especially what the others watch.

Hi spook I really appreciate your thoughts there. we must not take things for granted and there shouldn't be anything on earth on losing which we start to get down. We have other ways to be proactive as well.

Hi,it is very difficult question for me as I love to watch television.May be reality show or game show or any movies.I also like those saas-bahu serials. They are my favourite. But i also like detective and thriller serials or horror serials. But to be very practical, nowdays I don't get much time to watch television. Both internet and cell phone are very essential for me,because they are important for my career.

The television will have to go. The cell phone comes in use during times of emergencies, or when you are on the move. The internet.... well, you can make money out of that! Most of the things you can watch on a TV, you can download thru the internet anyway!

The only one I couldn't really do without is the internet. I can watch current movies and TV shows online which really makes TV a little obsolete for me. If I had to choose one though it would be the cellphone. It's the single worst invention in recent memory and has made the world into a text obsessed group of zombies who can't function without a little phone jammed against their ears....not to mention it had ramped up the rudeness level as folks refuse to get off when getting served or in a real face to face conversation....WHEW!! I feel better now...LOL

Definitely TVF would go first. I listen to the radio much more than TV and read the newspaper. Next would be cell. Don't use to gab much. Can't imagine w/o the internet! Keep in touch with everybody through it! :o)

the only 1 of those 3 things we use is internet. there is no cell service in our area. a family member did add us to their plan for $10.00 a month so when we travel we have one and we made a conscious decision to go without television 2 years ago. no tv no videos and we don't miss it one bit not the monthly charge for channels , no the electric usage. we love to read and books are cheap. so the only thing i could not live without is the internet as we both have our own business and most parts and schematics are online great topic

In those days that you say they were happy, there was war and starvation. don't forget it. if you want to throw your pc, television or cell phone, you can! personally I don't waste my time on watching television, and yes, i have a cell phone, but it's rare that i have money in it. the relationship with my pc is more complex. if i have it i use it, but if i'm away from it i don't miss it anytime.

I would definitly dump TV. I can not go without Internet or a Phone. I don't really watch TV, and I can definitly do without it. All I need is the internet and my precious phone.
