Work before sitting in front of the computer!

How often have you said this word to your children. Before I really got addicted to surfing the net or rather mylotting, I often see my kids sitting hours in infront of the computer either chatting or playing games soon after returning from schools. It is made worse during school holidays. They would rather be in front of the computer then going through their school assignments or revising their lessons. I would tell them to please study first, or help me in clearing up the mess in the house. I didn't realize that I am now doing exactly as what they were doing, sitting in front of the computer endlessly without realizing that I have neglected my housework. The laundry is not done, the floor has not been swept and mopped and rushed cooking when everyone starts complaining of being hungry. Can you imagine how the net has changed our routine and demanded most of our time which should otherwise be utilized in a more fruitful ways. But how could I not be drawn to mylot when practically it takes up most of my surfing time. The magnetic force of mylot has over powered me. It is so addictive that I am here even before doing other things. Do you sometimes do likewise? Are you strict with your daily schedule and do mylot only after all your household chores are completed?
