I wonder if I can get it to pray that people aren't stupid enough to use it's service?

This is one of the the dumbest things I've ever heard. Prayers are not like money. They're not all the same; you can't use them like currency. You can't say have a friend cover for you, or just say "Well, as long as God hears them some way, it's all good." Prayers are meant to be from one person to God. They are meant to further the relationship between God and that person. Using a computer to automatically pray to God is like using a computer to try to automatically help your marriage, like only using the screensaver to say "I love you," and never actually talking to your spouse at all.

This is absolutely fantastic sconi! Can it be programmed to repeatedly say sorry on my behalf as well? That would be even MORE amazing if it did and it'd save me hours of grovelling a day too. On a serious note though, how ridiculous of the people who made this to even suggest that something like this would be appropriate for anyone that was truly faithful?

That's too funny. I'm sure God doesn't approve of us outsourcing our prayers. If you feel the need to pray, get off your butt and on your knees and do it yourself.

i'm not sure......but if God created EVERYTHING, then he MUST have created all the other religions too which means he MUST have created hinduism which means he MUST speak hindi. ......i'm just saying.

Well, I think it's absurd. It's okay to pray for someone who is sick, troubled or anyone who needs help. Praying for someone you don't even know for money? You are kidding yourself, you are no different from a pagan.

you sound like a "good christian" to be able to call someone else names. this is not MY service.....it's something i saw on the news this morning and NOWHERE in my post did i say ANYTHING about "praying for someone you don't know for money" so please don't resort to name calling if you don't understand something you just read.

ROFLMAO THAT is hilarious! I have questions though.. isnt laziness a form of sloth? isnt sloth still one of the 7 deadly sins? if you are too lazy (or slothful) to pray yourself isnt praying kind of a mute point because you are destined to go to hell for being slothful anyway hell send me the $9.95 and I will say your damn prayers LOL

well i'm not a big believer in any religious mumbo jumbo, but i am a recovering Catholic, and an aborted born again Christian, so i do kinda know how it's supposed to work, and i don't think it takes any effort to pray. surely not $9.95 worth. i just wish i woulda thought of that site first. oh well.....back to the ol' drawing board.

It sort of reminds of that prayer wheel the Tibetans use to pray to Buddha. I would rather pray to God directly and not go through some computer and have someone type what they think I should pray for. Usually it is what they consider is socially acceptable. I mean God wants to hear me praising HIM and also ask HIM for help. It also makes communication between HIM and me. I am not going to let a machine do it for me.

Whatever this creation is, it's never gonna work. Prayer is about you communicating with God. It is something very personal, done in your quiet moment and it is a time you speak to God and listen for His voice. This can't be done through proxy by a machine or recorded voice. Doing it via a machine is like faking it...it sounds so hypocritical. If you relegate this communications to a machine because you are just too lazy to spend time with God, then might as well not do it at all, because I don't think God will be pleased at this kind of sincerity. God loves people to pray with a sincere heart.

This is just plain old wrong. First off there is no right or wrong time to pray, while for some the devotion of sitting aside quietly to meditate is part of the process you can just as easily pray while sitting in front of your computer typing responses to really nasty things like this. Right now I'm saying a prayer for you, that you wake up and realize that G-d or whomever is all around you and that it doesn't take anything special to get his attention.
