"If you trust someone trust till the end"

I always trust people and I give second and third chances too. I have also been 'bitten' and had friends tell me I should wake up and see that the person I trusted did not deserve it. In one case the person realised and changed completely and that was worthit for all the other times. So many people cannot be trusted but I continue to trust until proof shows that I shouldn't

Trusting really means to stick up to it even in doubtful times - there's no other way to prove that you trust someone if the trust will not be tested by trusting him/her when everybody else wouldn't. I like the last part of the saying though, because I've never heard it before ("...or you will learn a very good lesson") - whatever happens, your trust will bear good fruit.
