How much water do you drink each day?

Some drink a lot of water each day,while others drink only when they are thirsty.Some cant drink plain boiled water with nothing in it,and some may prefer to drink plain boiled water.Whats your option?And how do you know whether you are drinking enough water each day? Its said that the average person needs around 6-8 large glasses every day.Honestly,I dont drink that much.I would have to rush to the washroom on and on if I did so.lol Following are some tips from one website about drinking water.Hope it may be of some help to you.Take care. Other people find they need a water 'diet' to help them keep on track. So for you, here is a program easily followed to ensure you are well hydrated every single day. When you wake up you will often be thirsty because your body loses water while you are sleeping through breathing and perspiration. Drink a large glass of water with a slice of lemon for zing. Drink another glass of water with breakfast or a cup of herbal tea before setting off the day. Mid morning - snack on a piece of juicy fruit such as orange, rockmelon, watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew. Have a glass of water and perhaps try a dash of herbal aloe juice which is wonderfully soothing to the digestive system. Lunch - think of soup or have a glass of water before your meal, or perhaps a herbal tea. Mid afternoon - While you are preparing your evening meal, drink a glass of water and snack on some crunchy fresh vegetables. Evening - Sip a glass of water before your meal with a dash of your favourite fruit juice for flavour. After dinner - before bedtime drink your final glass of water and sleep well! A few changes will happen when you start out with your water program. Obviously you may find that you need to 'spend a penny' more often. Why? Because you body isn't used to being well hydrated. There is absolutely no doubt about it. When you start drinking enough water regularly, there are great benefits. You may notice your skin significantly improve and even tired muscles will thank you. Many people find their energy is increased and constipation and headaches are reduced, as well as hunger pains.

I think I drink more than 2L of water a day as I have a 2L tupperware brand water bottle which I used. I carry it almost everywhere I go. Even as I work from home, I would have it by my side. Drinking loads of water is good. Besides I am taking a high fiber diet so I need to drink lots to avoid constipation .

No problem with me cause I am already a water drinker. Half liter upon rising from my sleep early in the morning. I drink it before anything I would take in the morning. 500ml every after meal and every time I feel like drinking water...

It is widely known that water is an essential part of our living. It is necessary for us to drink water everyday. As for me, I drink at the very least 8 glasses, that's about 2 liters of water a day, 3 to 4 liters if I can since I am now on track to loose weight, my fitness partner requests for me to take in more water, she said for detoxification purposes.. I don't always comply though, although I really want to and I know that drinking water is good for me and I'll be more healthy if I do so.

Drinking Plain boiled water is a good habit..Especially, drinking a cup of plain boiled water is good for your health. Everyday I drink at least five cup of water.( My cup is a coffee cup.)

You have put up a relevant topic. Water. Many people overlook this thing and ignore it just saying as long as you are not thirsty you need not drink water. But that is a wrong idea. If you want you organs to function well you should drink at least five liters of water each day. Water does clean the digestive system and also keep your kidney function well.

I love water but i only drink 3 or 4 glases a day, which is not good for my health cause water have plenty benefits we can get there.

im not so sure about that my sons gf drinks several glasses of water a day. its mostly all she drinks all day and shes a reaL fatty! and shes always saying she has headaches, etc. sorry.

I drink more of water when I am at home, at office I try to drink less water because we are not allowed to go out frequently, where ever it may be, i think that i consume a lot of water, I cant be without carrying my water bottle where ever I go and not only that I compulsorily take atleast one glass of fruit juice when I happen to go to the office or a restaurant every day and at home, i dont consume juices however i do take fruits. I feel my throat very dried up if i dont drink water for every half an hour or an hour.

I try to drink 4- 32 ounce containers of water per day. I do see an improvement in my skin, regularity and muscles. Hunger pangs also I think. I don't get bottled water at all. I drink whatever comes out of the spout. I don't believe that anything but water should count in the amount I drink either. I remember my aunt used to try to get us kids not to drink water or anything before a meal because it would ruin our meals. Good thing now, huh?

I drink about 6 glasses of water a day. Yes, water does have lots of positive benefits however the plain taste of it gets to me sometimes. I normally drink about a glass or two during exercise each day because drinking sports drinks is only adding back the calories that I had just worked so hard to burn. Water is an essential liquid to drink, and with it there are numerous health benefits. If only I could get to that 8 glasses a day.

i probably dont drink enough water, i mean i know youre supposed to drink heaps but i really never do . im more a juice person . i can go through glass after glass of juice. water just isnt appealing to me.

I drink 6-8 glasses at the least. I love drinking drinks like Jamba Juice and fruit smoothies, and sugary drinks that make me hyper, but sometimes, water is my saving grace at times.

When you say "boiled " water, i that to purify it?? As far as i know we have never had to boil water in the US. But we do use water purification system. Anyways i dont drink enough water and i lik your daily regimine. I might have to give it a try. Thanks

I drink more 10-15 glasses of water in a day. Around 3-4 mugs of tea, sometimes juices. The fact is this is less need to take more water and reduce tea/coffee.

I too cannot drink plain boiled water.I tried drinking it during colds and i never liked it.I drink more than eight glasses of water a day.A doctors recommendation is to drink three litres of water a day because we lose most of the water through sweat and other body activities.Water also has lot of health benefits like having a good skin,removing waste from the body.keeping the body temperature cool and keeping the eyes moist.

Yes dinking water is very good and healty .some say that we have to drink 6-7 glaasses of water daily .water removes all the toxic substances from our body ans cleans it internally.i try to dring more water but i do,t think i'm drinking enough......it also depends on the season....
