She Was Offended Because I Was Offended?

Me and my friend were standing outside after school today just talking. This girl come up and asks if either of us had a lighter. Neither one of us smoke so we told her no. So she gets mad and says "Thanks for nothing!" I just looked at my friend and said "Wow, she's mad at us because we don't smoke?" So she gets mad and starts screaming "What did you just say?!" And I told her, and she started cursing me out and told me that her boyfriend had just gotten out of jail and how bad he would beat me. I just ignored her. But the nerve of some people. It's not my fault. I don't smoke and I don't carry around lighters just in case I come in contact with someone who does.

wow... she's freaking crazy!
i don't know how someone can get mad at you for something that is there problem!
i hate when people do that..but i just try and brush it off... why should i let it bother me? sometimes it's hard but usually i am able to just laugh it right off.
seems pretty stupid too to be going around telling people your boyfriend will beat after hes just gotten out of jail? beating a woman is great way to end back up in jail.. i guess she does not care about him all that much. lol
some people really should come with a warning on their head

Thanks for your comment, but I'm a guy. LOL. Guess it's hard to tell over the internet. But yea, she was crazy. I wasn't worried at all, me and my friend just ignored her and kept talking.
