this is really mean.. i dont know what pacquiao wants to do, he is making every filipino very frustrated to what he have done. he bring up the network wars again by his upcoming fight with ricky hatton. i feel like pacquiao is afraid to be sued by 150 million dollars by solar thats why he decided to accept the contract again. lol.

as i see it , pacquaio's decision is influenced by his desire to earn more money from his fight. he wanted to earn in different ways in each game that he has and trying to close a deal anyone who is willing to offer better pay though he has existing contract with others. yeah, i agree that he seems not to foresee the outcome of those kind of stupid decisions. he is just trying to make himself look foolish in publish by accepting different contract in different companies.

oh yeah. he got away with it before with golden boy. it seems pacquiao is all about money. though i still think he is good person cause he tried to share his blessings to other people in his hometown. i guess he just wanted to earn more to help more other people and of course for him to earn bigger money faster specially in the line of work he is into . he thinks that boxing is not that easy job. he will want to earn more in just fewer game or fight as possible so he would lessen the damage that this sport can do in his health.

well, i think the greatest motivator for him to do that is what he do in his promoter's contract. he already have talks with golden boy and even paid by them but suddenly changed his mind and without asking permission with golden boy he sign up immediately to top rank. and with that he thinks he can do it again. monkey business.lol.

this is only just my opinion. The ABS-CBN tried to get him under ground. I mean, I'm pretty sure, the management of the said network knew of the existing contracts of Pacquiao from Solar and GMA. why did the abs had to make deal with him? Why dint the lawyers of Pacquiao didn't help him to decide on what to do. I mean, maybe Paquiao was offered by ABS more than what the 2 networks had and maybe Paquiao was overwhelmed by it. you can tell just how dirty the network in manipulating people. The best thing Paquiao should do after his fight, is go back to his hometown and don't let the people in manila use him.

paquiao should listen to his advisers or try to think millions times before making a decision and don't get alluded by just anybody. i guess, he was afraid of the lawsuit from solar and GMA networks which they would really go after paquiao if he didn't straighten and go back to the existing contracts he had from both networks. If ABS insisted, I'm pretty sure the network will also be filed a lawsuit and they must be aware by now what a wrong move they did by trying to get paquiao on their camp.. what dirty tricks indeed. too bad they were caught in act. better luck next time.

I guess it was a decision that Pacquiao has made that didn't consult his lawyers first. I guess he lost in this battle alone. That is why I wouldn't advise him to go and pursue his political plans if as simple as making a move like this he cannot foresee problems would rise to this kind of magnitude. I think network wars did not happen since ABS seems to just dropped just like the Pacquiao did because I think that was a wise move for them to avoid this costly battle.

though, abs just dropped their contract with pacquaio, it almost break out a war between GMA 7 and ABS. if i would remember, when GMA 7 gave their official statement they almost ruin the reputation of ABS again. well, ABS just ignored it and said that GMA 7 must be careful for what they are saying or they will pursue another libel case against them.. lol. I think people would'nt vote for pacquaio anymore because of what happened.

I guess it was a wise move for ABS not to pursue anymore. As for Pacquiao I really think he has to make hastily any decision like this one. Again a very bad lesson but well learnt. It may also be some of Pacquiao's advisers that might be leading him to make this sudden decisions.

Manny Pacquiao was ill advised when he decided initially to change network without reviewing his contract with Solar. The root cause is still money. Those people behind him should be very careful next time. He is better a boxer than a politician. I rather advise him to help people in other way rather than be a politician. I want to see in the ring rather than in congress.

you are absolutely right with what you have said. he needs to forget his political ambition or else he will experienced the same thing again when he first attempted to run for congress, well, i think that will serve as a learning to him.

I wouldn't put the blame on Manny Pacquiao. I think it's the incompetence of his lawyer that is making a mess Manny's name. Not to insult Manny, but without his lawyer giving him wrong advice, everything will be smooth. Manny Pacquiao may not understand the technicalities. Sad to say his lawyer doesn't either. I think he should ditch his lawyer. He's always been in trouble when that lousy Jeng Gacal came into the picture. Why not hire the Fortun brothers who cane make white from black. Hehe..

oh yeah, i notice that too.. maybe his lawyer has something to do with this also.. there would be someone that will provokes him to do that and i think his lawyer is one of that. i agree that he needs to kick of his lawyer and find some other lawyer who has the capacity to protect him from unwanted things like this. he is already rich and has a lot of money so why just use that money to buy another lawyer.. lol.

Maybe he's too shy to do so but hey, he can always reason out that he's just being professional about getting a new lawyer. Afterall, he has milked Manny Pacquiao millions when he is not even worth it.

What Pacquiao did was really wrong. He don't need to be in ABS-CBN just to be viewed worldwide by other country thru TFC channel. He is already established himself worldwide. Every people know him for being a boxing champ. He should think first before he did that. He have already a lot of money what else he can ask for? Aren't he contented of what he have? I know that its his free will to chose where he wants his fight to be aired because its his face and body that is being hit but i guess being a man with dignity should also be talk about. He signed with GMA and Solar, I think if he wants to move to ABS- CBN again he should finish the contract first. Pacquiao have lots of shows at GMA if he move to ABS-CBN what will he be? Like Angel? There are already lots of people moving to ABS-CBN from GMA but what happened to them? I hope that Manny should not think about the popularity, he should think of the people that idolize him. He is a public person now. He should watch out on whatever decision he will do. Wars between network is up again :-( As for me everytime a person move from GMA to ABS-CBN. I often watch them anymore. I don't know I just dont like the feeling that sometimes they dumped the person. Angel was the star at GMA but to ABS-CBN where is she now???

oh, angel is still in the business.. she's not dumped by abs after all, with diether ocampo and sam milby in a tv series.. i dont think so.. and i think that is the reason why angel leave GMA, she didnt ahve any breaks.. after a tc show, she will work on another immediately. that's what i heard from them on talk shows. and its not always on the network but on how the managers manage their artists. anyway, about pacquiao's issues, i think for whatever field it may be he must need to respect every contract he made. because it is not a situation wherein whenever he doesnt feel it anymore he will just ignored it as there are many provisions stated in a contract that will cause him to suffer not only financially but morally and his dignity.

Hi lockheart! I believed that Manny did not consulted his lawyers when he accepted the offer and eventually announced his transfer to ABS CBN. Only people who don't know that much about laws, particularly not fully understanding the contract they were signing would make this hasten announcement. It just show how greedy a person could be. Have a nice day!

thanks for the response.. you mean manny pacquiao is becoming greedy now?? lol.. well, i might say that it could be a possible reason why he do that. and maybe the real purpose that he makes that move is because of his candidacy for the next election.. from what he have done, i dont think people will vote him.. too ba for him.. lol.

my take on this is that pacquiao is making decisions without thinking about the consequences..whoever his adviser is should see to it that this situation will not happen again or pacquiao's fame will suffer in the long run.. but then,it is not just pacquiao who learned a lesson or two hear.. all of us did, right? i learned that we should make decisions wisely..not greedily. lol!

I don't think it matters on the network. If the networks get into a new war about the telecast of the fight, then let it be. The only thing that matters for me is the actual fight, if Pacman wins then we all be proud of him, again. We all believe in Manny's ability to known-down Hatton, right? So let us all pray for Manny to win and bring home the bacon again...

thats what others will say.. manny pacquiao must stay in boxing and forget about everything especially politics.. it is the factor that is ruining is name. i hope that manny pacquiao will win against hatton with his upcoming fight.. but whatever the result of the fight will be.. it will happen for a reason..=)

Hello lockheart! I guess that Pacquiao is getting greedy or ABS is. It would have been a smart move for the network switch since Pacquiao will have more publicity pairing up with ABS. Too bad he really didn't know that contracts are binding and you can't turn your back on 'em just like that. Lesson learned for Pacquiao. Any how whatever networks air it, Filipinos will still watch it of course. Good luck to Pacquiao and may you always have a clear head! We will always cheer on Pacquiao ( at least when he's fighting in the ring!).

i think the network has nothing to do with it.. the only mistake of ABS is that why did they allow pacquiao to sign a contract with them when they know that pacquiao has already a binding contract with solar in the same matter. i have some thoughts about this, maybe because when manny came to them they accept manny's reason regarding with fees that is delayed by solar to be paid. i believe that manny was the one who ask ABS for this. anyway, if it is for the sake of his candidacy for the next election then why he choose solar than ABS?? tricky.. maybe there is another thing behind the talks between solar and manny.. oh well, i wish him luck for his next fight.

He was under contract to begin with, it's not like he can just void it coz he wants to. Whoever advised him to switch networks without checking the validity of the contract Pacquiao signed with Solar, is the real idiot. If it was entirely on Manny? Howell. Cheers lockheart.

oh well, we can accept the fact that their is someone who urge him to do that. if he really want to go back in ABS then whatever happens he will pursue his contract with ABS, for what he already stated in the public, he convinced everybody that he wants to left solar and i think he also said that it was just his own decision.. oh well again, he done it twice.. nothing new. lol.

Hello Lockheart, well i guess Pacman was really confused about this and he is fickle minded too with regards to decision or probably someone behind him or manipulating him to do such decision. Not unless Abs really lured him about his 2010 campaign that will benefit him if he decides to get Abs for televising his fight on May2. Anyway these fights between two rival channels are always ON, and no matter what, they will still compete each other, i am not switching sides here, but the thing is getting ugly everyday. From surveys to tv sitcoms and series, they always compete. About MP, well i guess his plan for 2010 election is a bad idea, people would be doubting him now for what happened. Happy Mylotting!

well, i think that would be the nature in between networks.. lol. people are getting sick with their games but sometimes a cant help myself to take part on one side because it is a pain for me to see that the other network is ruining other one. lol. anyway, after the fight with hatton, he will have a lot of time to think about his plans this coming election. if i were a voter from saranggani, i would definitely not vote him. and maybe that is also the decision of people there.

with this all controversy that pacquiao is encountering right now, i think hatton is taking advantage of it.. lol. if manny cannot recover himself with this issue, it will be a big problem for them and to all filipinos who are expecting him to win.. thanks for the reponse.

Pacquiao, surely did not think hard before trying to jump off with abs-cbn. this is such a disappointment to Filipino fans who expected more from pacquio outside the ring. He didn't even consider the contract that his tied with. Maybe someone should educate him more about legal matters so as to avoid this issued which is in my opinion, ver unprofessional. I hope that he has now learned his lesson well.

if i am not mistaken, he is actually taking up political science in a school somewhere in gensan, i do believe that contracts are being tackled to those student who are taking up pol.sci. i think he is consciously aware that he has a contract to some company, so why he will do that if he knows he already signed another contract regarding with that matter. i think that he is playing some monkey business with some people who urge him to do that. tsk.

Pacquiao's head is being taken advantaged by some powerful people. The problem with Pacquiao, he fail to have that sense of clear-cut decision making. I just wish him the best of luck for his next fight.

that's why he can never be a politician. if he does, i cannot foresee what the future of saranggani will be. maybe worse than what we have right now. maybe he should keep himself in boxing and forget about politics.
