I do this often when I'm feeling cheap :D Instead of indulging on Starbucks coffee, I'd substitute my coffee craving with a mix of milo+coffee. I mix 1 sachet of milo+1 teaspoon of coffee+1 teaspoon of sugar. If I had vanilla flavor, I think it'd even taste better :D Do you mix your milo with coffee?

Hi oyenkai, good day to you. Wow! Your idea in mixing the coffee and milo is very interesting, i believe that the taste of it will be great and awesome than a ordinary coffee. With your idea, i think i must go and try the taste of it, may be tomorrow i will fix the milo and coffee, then when i already prove that the taste of it is good, i will share the recipe of it to my friends and relative. And i am just thinking, may be with that recipe you can start a small business like a UNIQUE COFFEE SHOP . As i know most of the FILIPINO love drinking coffee especially in the morning because the coffee makes the good start of the day of Filipino. Well my father love drinking coffee , he always start drinking coffee in the morning, even in the afternoon sometimes and even in the evening. I am thinking is it an addiction? But he only do that sometimes, he always told me that he really feel strong and good. Me, in the morning i also drink a Milo and sometimes if we do not have a Milo, i also go drink Coffee, as my expirience the taste of it was also really good and i feel also strong drinking that kind of drink. But i am not like us my father who drink much coffee. Hehe because i am to you young to drink that amount. Well may be in your recipe you must try to put a half teaspoon of salt in your coffee and milo combination, because it will make the taste more good. And as i my expirience when putting a salt in your coffee, it increases the oxidation to your body which is good. Well that's all my response to your forum topic discussion entitled "mixing milo and coffee". I hope i give a very good response to your discussion. Happy posting and happy earning! ! ! Mabuhay! Good luck to our earning career here in this site mylot. . . =)

I'd love contributing to that coffee shop, or we can all collaborate. Heehee, I'm mad about coffee. I think this one is unique: Coffee with Irish Cream flavor and vodka...wait, I think that's some Bailey's of sorts...my bad. Or maybe we can match the unique coffee shop with unique recipes for food as well. I'm always trying to push the "instant" items a little further, like cooking my carbonara using instant powdered milk mixed with water until I achieve that near "fresh milk" consistency, then using it for cooking the sauce. I think the one made with Nido came out good. Anyways, salt in coffee? With my experience it's not really refreshing to drink or eat something that is salty in taste, but I'll try this a little later, with both instant and brewed coffee. I'll get back to this. Heehee. I hope it works, and I'll thank you a hundred times if it did work. And I think there's no age thing when it comes to coffee. I tend to drink an average of 3 cups per day, and I was 13 at that time.

Hello oyenkai! The things you learn in mylot never ceases to amaze me. I am not a coffee drinker so when I want to drink hot, I settle for milk or milo. If it wasn't so hot I'd try making this one right now. Happy mylotting indeed!

You can try it cold! It's even better, like having an Iced Mocha drink or something like that.

Hi there. I actually tried that once, mixing milo with coffee. However, it didn't turn out so great. Maybe I put in too much coffee or something. I'll give your mix a try, though.

I don't think that's cheap. You are just experimenting. This is how new recipies are made. Mixing one thing with other. Actually your recipie sounds good. I will try similar thing with my coffee.

milo - milo energy drink, packed with vitamins and minerals
I haven't tried that before. It sounds delicious though and I might try it when I get home. I'll add some whipped cream on top of it and I may even add a stick of wafer just for fun. Thanks for the idea.

Hello my friend, oyenkai! Yes, i do! it tastes like mocha! when i was younger, coffee is just too strong for me so i mixed it with a little milo to lessen and have a lighter taste and i have carried that over until now! I usually do it on weekends, when i am just at home though. On weekdays, i cannot, because I just buy my coffee from the Vendo machine downstairs. he he he

yeah! i tried that when i was younger, before i met starbucks! hehehe i also add milk in this drink. everybody in the house love drinking it hot or iced cold or sometimes chilled.. you can also do it on milkshakes, you just have to mix milo and coffee in little amount of hot water before pouring it to blender with ice and milk.. its best this summer.

Wow... a cafe mocha lover... Though I'm not a fan of coffee, I sometimes mix the coffee, milo, and milk together and it's amazing. It's better to drink it with ice and the taste even better. Or try to mix tea with chocolate...

Yes, I mix some milk with coffee when I go out to drink coffee because I don't like add sugar. However, I think it is a good idea adding a milk candy into hot coffee. That's what I often do. You can try it.

I agree to that. I have tried that but I included powered milk. It really gives a tasty drink. Starbucks is a very good place to meet people and if you are waiting for someone. I even go to starbucks less these few days. Its really cheaper to drink at home. Please try this its very good.
