I love Harry Potter and read all its series. The film is good to but it lack many things. Sometimes, it's not interesting, too. I prefer reading. It's better.

I think i will prefer reading than to watch a movie, i seriously love to read books and can choose from wide range and read for long hours and get my self invovled in it where as i cannot just get invovled into wathcing movies which are most of all useless and filled with sad love stories and actions..books are easiest way to travel and the most cheapest way too.lol

I prefer reading the Harry Potter Series also, most of their conversation are very interesting and only a few have been presented in the movie, I laughed a lot when I read the books especially about the twins. Still, I found that some scene are very good to be shown in the movie, like the scenes when the twins leave the school and play their fireworks to that Professor Umbridge.

Although I enjoy watching films, I think in many ways books are better. Usually, a lot has to be from a book in order to make it into a short enough film. Also, when you read, you can more easily find out a characters' motivations, as you are often given their perspective.

I prefer to read the book first then watch the movie so I could compare them.Between the book and the movie,it's just not the same. Many people I know would rather watch the movie than read the book itself.

The books are so much better. The movies leave so many scenes and important information out. When I was watching the fourth movie, I was so confused and if I hadn't read the book I wouldn't have had any idea what was going on and I had to explain the whole plot to my friend that I went with who was also confused.

hi gemmoney.. for me, it also better to read all its series. Actually i read first the series before i watch the movie.. Then i can actually know where's the part that they change and also for me to understand what's happening in them in the book that i can compare in the movie.. Sad to say i haven't finished the last series.

I enjoy watching the movies but until I read the books I didn't completely understand them. I love all the details in the books that the movie just doesn't show!

depends on what mood I'm in. If I start watching the movies I have to start on the Sorcerer's stone and watch all the films in chronological order.

i really love the books... the movie lacks so much of our imagination. if we first read the book and watch the movie later on, we will say ourselves.. "hey this is not as beautiful as we thought or imagined"..

Reading is way much better. The movies cannot phisically contain all the fantastic details of the books.

watching movie is fun but given the chance to choose whether to watch a movie or to read it on a book, I would rather choose reading. there are a lot of books that I have read that eventually made it to the big screen. The client, runaway jury, message in a bottle to name a few but no offense to movie makers out there, they weren't able to achieve the same heat and satisfaction as what those books have offered to the readers.. It's understandable though, since you can't put the whole novel with hundreds of pages into just a two-hour film.
