What is a good listener??

if had a friend its better that he / she is a good listener right?? b'coz if u tell all your problems and worries in life he / she can listen very carefully and give the advice.
me i can say myself is a good listener b'coz i have time to listen to my friends and love one's what they want to tell me, then i carefully tell what is my opinion and feelings about their situation. afterwards what they tell me i put it to my head and count it as my expereince so that when there come a times that i am at the same situation i know what to do..
are you consider yourself as a good listener??

hello kenroxas, if you are not a god listener you can never give any good advice. Why just put contradictory statement?

This is nice knowing that you are a good listener. Yes you need to listen carefully if you really wish to be a good person to advice.
For me I feel I am not so a good listener but a bad either. I just pull on somehow. But if any one comes to me with a lot of problems I relly listen to him/her and help him/her out what is possible for me.

er, i think i am a good listener,too.
i like to listen what my friend share with me ,and most of time , i give my advice to him/her, sometime, if they have problem that i cannot solve, i will also listen what they said, help them to solve the problem.
actually, in my view, when people tell you something,especially their sadness, they don't want to get some suggestion, they just want a listener, they just want to tell the things out .
so i believe to be a good listener is very important .
hehe... that's just my opinion.
