I feel its the best. And opinion varies from person to person. As music is a subjective quantity, we can't really debate on this topic.

You can never classify Linkin Park has a real rock band. Its got hip hop, alternative rock, electronica and all kinds of stuff...... I dont really think its the best, but they do have some pretty good songs

Best alternative rock band or nu-metal or rap-rock band i would say, there are many types of genre in rock. Anyways they stay on top in the rock music charts.. :)
