Have you ever taken a nap, and woke up only to find that you practically slept the day away. I took a little nap with my cat. Actually, he was being punished for trying to start a fight with a visiting cat. I went into my bedroom and closed the door, took Jake with me. I went to sleep, only to wake up and see that it was almost 3:30 in the afternoon. Thankfully, I had something in the crockpot cooking for dinner, and didn't have to get up and prepare something from scratch. Have you ever taken a few minute nap, that turned out being an all day nap?

Its good to catch up on sleep but I hate the guilty feeling afterwards like I've wasted the day away. I go to bed at 1am and wake up at 7am :)

this is your body telling you that you surely needed the sleep..haha!! I have never taken a nap that lasted all day but i would lay down thinking i would take a 15 min nap and then wake up to find i had actually slept for about an hour!!! Naps are great for recharging your body BUT also, they can make you feel even more sluggish than before!@!!

Off course ,the same things always happen to me. My favorite animal is cat. So when I was a child I used to sleeping with my cat .Especially a nap. In fact ,a nap do good for our health . There is an old sayings in China. A short nap is very comfortable although deep sleep is neccesary .I think if we want to keep our sober mind we must do some sports . That is my experience.

yeah, i have experienced that before. I decided to take a nap because this past few days i didn't get enough sleep. I didn't know that i am almost sleeping for a whole day. I realized that i am very tired to do that.

I've done that before, I was really tired so I decided to have a nap around 3pm I think it was and I got woken up by my dog because she wanted to go for a walk. I couldn't believe I'd slept for so long.

Yes I hate when that happeneds. Usually I just be relaxing watching tv or reading the newspaper and fall asleep, and this could be at 11am. Next time you know it is 5 or 6pm and its already starting to get dark. I hate sleeping the day away. Except when I'm on vacation.

yes, it happened to me on a weekend, after a long tiresome week i took a nap on saturday afternoon at 2:pm and thought of waking up after an hr because i had to go out for the evening but i woke up at 7PM and found that i have around 30 missed calls and not only that, once i slept in a train hoping to wake up in 15 mins bcoz it would take another half hr to reach my station but i woke up when i am in a station which is 1 hr away from my station. Some times, you laugh at yourselves when these things happen.

Is there any way to prevent that?
