I cant work without listening music

I can't either! I have music on almost all day long because it just makes life more enjoyable to me. I don't watch much television as I prefer music. I would definitely rather go to a concert than to a play! The only show I really watch is American Idol...because of the music! lol. I don't like low either, but I would say my music is medium in sound...I live in a dorm and they would be on my case constantly if it was too loud. When I'm driving, it's more on the loud side! lol

i am the same! when i enter the kitchen the first thing to do is to switch on the radio then start cooking.as we know music is the food of our soul

I am in a profession that is practically married to music (dance - as you probably gathered from my icon!), so I definitely cannot pursue my actual job without music. Occasionally you'll see that rare dancer/choreographer who seems to enjoy the challenge and aspect of dancing with no music, but I am certainly not one of them and never will be as music was one of the reasons I went into dance. Of course, I play music when doing just about everything else too, whether it's work-related or not. Sometimes, I need something to break the monotony of whatever I am doing when the task I am working on gets boring. Other times, it clears my head and helps me to relax... or when I am working on some creative project, it puts me in the right mood. It is there for me when I have emotional troubles - there's always some song that understands. So yes... you can count me in as one of those who cannot work (or function 100%) without music to help me along!

Hii Shiwani! music is soothing, music can heal, music can raise your apetite, music can change a pappu into a dancing dude all this and a lot more. But for me music has solved algebra questions in Mathematics in my schooltime. Sure, it did as i feel very uncomfortable with these equations and formulaes unless i listen to my fav. songs. And guess what the worst part of this love with music ... they dint allow me to play music in 10th board during mathematics paper. Will not tell you the results.

I am also a music addict and it has been the case for over a decade now. Even when I was in school, I would never do the homework unless the tape recorder was switched on. I have switched to the laptop now, by God's grace but the habit has not changed. Whenever I surf the internet, having music playing is a must for me. It freshens me up after a tiring day.

Hi Shivnagi.. I too like to listen music when I am at home..especially in the morning. I play light volumed...instrumentals in the morning in weekdays so that it has a soothing effect. But in weekends..I play music loudly and choose rock songs over melodies :-) So my choice of music is situational.. Recently I liked a album called 'Connections' from A R Rehman. Are you aware of this one?

I also like music while I work on mylot and other things and while browsing in the internet. Sometimes I do cooking. I will put my FM player on and listen to the songs while cooking. I also put songs on my FM player while lying on the bed and sometimes coming back from the office.
