Why is it that when Christian try to discuss a nonbelievers belief we are being judgmental? But when they are bashing the Christian faith they are just stating their opinion.

I have found that non Christians judge Christians by what little they know about how Christians are "supposed" to act, talk, feel, ect. To add to this is a since of insecurity, and the need to defend, anything that might be seen as a difference of opinionwith their belif. But when they are bashing the Christian faith they are not bound by any ethic, much less the love that Christians are instructed to give even if we do not want to.

That is true and sometimes that love we are to have is very hard to dig up.In more then one occasion I have found myself wanting to hurt the person I was trying to help.

That's exactly what the devil would want you to do. I agree with Okki. Because non-Christians don't understand us, they can get defensive as I am sure we would get if it was them trying to be too forceful on us with their ideas. We all have our beliefs and if someone comes on too strong, we get defensive. It's natural and human to do so. It is also a matter of perception. We may not THINK we are being forceful or pushy, but they may and vice-versa. As Christians, we need to be very careful with our emotions and remember that we are "Heaven's Ambassadors" as the children of God. We represent the Lord and Jesus, and violence would do more harm than good. I am glad you didn't and don't act out when you get frustrated by non-Christians. Now you just need to work on controlling your emotions so that they do not upset you. Let the devil know that he can't get you riled up or angry, as he would want you to be. Release the anger out of your heart in a peaceful fashion (physically through sports or work-outs or by prayer and meditation) and remember YOU are in control of yourself. YOU have the power, not the devil, to do what's right. I have faith in you, and more importantly, so does God. =D
