How Many Pictures Do You Have On Your Walls?

My husband was a little surprised when he came up here from Arizona, at how many pictures I have on my walls. On the wall directly infront of me I have 18 pictures, 4 Danish plates, and a hanging candle holder with two pictures on it. There are three pictures to the left of the 18 on the corner of the other walls, just before the window, and another little picture to the left of that. Behind me is a huge picture of the pre 9/11 NYC Skyline, and my bedroom walls are covered too. Hubby was surprised at first, but my pictures soon grew on him. Danish homes tend to be like that. Mom had lots of pictures, and now I have lots of pictures I love all of my pictures!!! Hubby's apt. in AZ had NOTHING on the walls, and it drove me nuts!!! My walls are also sponge painted blue and white, and you can see abit between all my pictures. LOL So, do you prefer a lot of pictures on your wall like an art museum or a living photo album, a few pictures for balance, or totally plain walls?

Hi. danishcanadian. I don't have any pictures on my walls. All I have is a calendar on each of my walls in my rooms. My son has many pictures of drawings and print outs that he has made at school though. I plan to buy me some pictures for my walls. I love pictures. If I have any, I would not have too many that looks like a photo album. I want to have my pictures all spaced out some.

I have no pictures on my walls, for the simple reason that I don't have much wall space. It's covered in shelves and stuff like that. I do have a small hanging sculpture of a woman and a Venetian mask though, but if I were to add more my room would look much too busy.

We travel so much that sometimes we never get around to hanging any pics on the wall.

I do not hang any pictures on the wall. I prefer the wall to be plain and free. Perhaps that gives me a sense of serenity and freedom. However, I do hang pictures on cabinet doors.

i have some, not as many as i did at one point, maybe a couple of posters. speaking of arizona..that's one reason i've got out of the habit i think. when i lived in tucson, the landlords would freak if you had too many up. so,i just got used to not many.

Wow so many pictures..!!! Nahh. we have only only 4 poster pictures in the walls of our apartment. We had 5 but recently I took down one. Am thinking of taking all down for a change as the pictures has been up there in the same spot for 3 years now. I like change it sort of give the apartment a new look. Hmmmm...maybe I'll do just that.

I think I'm with your husband - I just love plain walls, ahah!~Well, I think we have a few as my wife is the one in charged of that so I'm not really bothered. But if I gets too crowded maybe then, well, I guess I'll leave it to maybe then.....but I guess she won't put too many either as that means extra work for her to clean off the dust if there's any accumulated, haha!!!~

I have lots of pictures. The other thing is that I like lots of clocks and lots of mirrors. I have cluttered walls, I guess. A house with plain walls would make me uncomfortable as well.

I love to have a lot of pictures on the walls but haven't gotten many on mine yet and I have lived here going on 3 years!! I have a large family and take many pictures of them and like to frame them and put them all up on the wall. At one place that I lived I had one entire wall completely covered with pictures of my family and I loved it! I think there were probably 50 pictures there of all sizes, that my daughters planned out and hung for me. In my room, I have quite a few of Anne Geddes pictures that have been put into frames. One of them is pretty big and I have several smaller ones and several more that haven't been hung yet. On two of the walls in the hallway I have mirrors, that look pretty good. I even have pictures in the bathroom. One is of my granddaughter with a little yellow duck to go along with the ducks in the bathroom. Her mother had a special picture taken of her baby sister that I need to get framed to add to that wall.

OK OK I confess... I have 0 pictures hung in my whole house... I bought the house new 4 years ago and didn't want to put holes in the walls and now that the house is 'dinged up' from the wear of having people living in it, yes it is time to put the art on the walls and the saddest think is I HAVE the art... from some of the more popular artists out there... Kinkade, Chigall, etc.... Time for me to get some nails and a hammer 'eh? Great question Thanks Zelo

I have eight in my living room, one in my bedroom, four on my stairs and four in here, my dining room. That's a total of seventeen, not counting the clock in the kitchen! lol. Brightest Blessings.

When I was a kid my room was full of Ghost Fighter and Dragon Balls posters. I enjoyed looking at it and believing someday I can have those powers too. When I was on teenager days, I changed them to Britney Spears. I was so crazy with her songs and mtvs. Well actually I demanded those posters from my mother. I live my room there that way. Everytime I visit my room in my mother's house I still smile looking at those walls full of pictures. Right now, since I am renting a new room, I only had this twilight poster which is quite big.

hey its me sam, i like your opinion of having pictures on the wall, but i think that it will be much better if we hang less pics on the wall and best keep rest of them in the albam or in any other photo frame.

My living room, dinning room and the master bathrooms are the only ones that have anything hanging on them. My bathroom have theme decor pictures. My dining room, also has themed decor for pictures on the walls. My living room, has the normal decor of palm trees, and as well as my two children's pictures. I don't have an over abunance but there's enough to make it look nice.

I love pictures!! Getting pictures at the Goodwill to hang on the walls as well as photos I take I am always putting in frames and they are everywhere in the house! I am running out of room and most of the stuff doesn't even go together.

At home, our wall as a graduation photo frame of children if the family and family photo frame. we also have a wall decoration of the four seasons even though we just have 2 seasons. hehehe at my room, back when i was a student my wall was i stick paper on my wall of topic i need to memorize. hehehe. on other room my siblings fut wallpaper of his favorite anime series.. for me a wall will look plain and blank if it has no picture in it. i believe decoration on our wall or anything we put on our wall dictates some of our personality.
