They should not wait until May but should show the new star trek now. What are they waiting for. Everyone has seen the previews. This movie delves into the origin of Kirk and Spock. It also tells of the first meetings between McCoy, Scotty, Uhura, Checkov and Sulu in connection with the duo. The previews look exciting. But Star Trek must find a new premise, a new idea. They cant rehash the Borg. Star Trek must find a new or reinvented enemy.They must build on some and exciting characters or reimagine or rebuild some old ones. Star Trek must examine some new technologies or reclarfy some others. Whatever they do they must make it interesting.

they are waiting until may to do it so by the time it comes out they are gonna make millions off of it the first week cause they are anticipating the release of the movie

They're waiting because May is a better month for a theater release. Certain months are just better, and boost attendance. They want to make the maximum amount of money with their release, so they're holding it for a prime release. Besides, there's probably still some minor editing that needs to be done. Just because the trailer's out, it doesn't mean the movie is 100% complete and ready to hit theaters.
