I have a three year old that has suddenly became the world's pickiest eater. She use to eat anything that you put in front of her. Now it is like pulling teeth to get her to eat anything other than candy. What can I do to make her like real food again?

Hi phoenix. I guess all kids go through that stage. When my daughter was around the same age as yours, I would have to show her that I'm eating that same food and then make her see that I'm enjoying it a lot. It needs creativity and some sort of acting talent. She will come around, don't worry. Take care.

I am going to try more finger foods. She seems to love chicken nuggets.

hmm... thats gonna be a problem... my niece is the fussiest kid i have ever known... she doesnt like anything other than junk food.... and to force her to eat food is like to force her to eat poison.... she doesnt like milk either... so what do you do with a kid like her..... she eats only chips, chocolate cookies... at least she eats bananas.... and you know how she eats her rice... she wants it mix with soya sauce... and thats it.... she is sooo light in weight she doesnt look like she is five but maybe four lol... You know what you should do... maybe make food in different shapes soo... she might get interested... best of luck...

Hi phoenix, Sorry, I can't really help you in that department as I don't have any children, but you can make a game of it or something. Bright Blessings. Tamara

Hi phoenix, maybe kids really go through that phase. wherein they become so picky. My son went through that phase also, but not really so picky. I would just tell him that it is his favorite before. Or I will say that he need to eat that so he can be strong. then he'll eat. hope that works for you have fun

Both my kids went through the "eww, I'm not gonna eat that" phase. The way I ended it was getting them to help me make it. Then they have some pride in it, they got to do it themselves, so they're more likely to eat it.
