I'm afraid i can't.we all see many people every day and they were talking to you some minutes.since then you might have not seen them.so they have been not in your mind and you won't recognise them.

Usually I can easily recognise a person if he/she was my former classmate or long lost friend. If its an acquaintance only, I may or may not really recognise the person. That taxi driver has a very keen memory indeed. In my own experience which was a long time ago, I moved to a ladies' dormitory. I saw a girl there, I thought that I saw her somewhere but can not really remember. She was also looking at me but she was quiet. I went out and really thought about her for an hour. Suddenly, I realise that she was the saleslady from the department store who return my things. When I got back to the dorm, I told her that we met already and how we have met. She also remembered me when I refreshed her mind.

I can recognize people, and remember in what circumstances we met. But I seldom remember people's name, which is a very bad side of myself. I would rather do something concrete to help, than leave any impression on others, in the hidden attempt to achieve something to my benefit. But recently I came to understand, naming somebody you met long ago might be a good start of presenting kindness.

Hello friend, I do have a sharp memory but I would not recognize every taxi driver I have talked to. Of course, if you talk to a person a lot about yourself and himself then you could recognize him after long time. However, the taxi drivers have a good memory because it comes to them from their jobs itself. They have to remember the roads, the turns and everything so I think that is the reason they have such a strong memory.

euh people that I meet that make an impression: I would recognise after 3 years. taxidrivers not (my apologies to all taxidrivers on this forum). So you must have left quite an impression on that taxidriver.

I am too weak in this are. Let alone 3 years I forget people in three months. I have tried to improve on this but have not succeeded as yet. But I have discovered one tactic. If the person addresses me with my name and I too feel that I have known that person after exchanging some goodness and all I bring out my pocket book and hand over him/her to write her present address and all. This surely saves me from being embarrassed.

Well if it is somebody that I have know for a long time, like say a old school mate from like middle school or high school, I think i would be able to recongize them. I dont think I would be able to recongize a taxi driver that drove me around 3 years ago.

I have did such a thing just few times I have just forgot there names but I recognize them. I think at this point of time when I am meeting so many people while looking for Job it might be difficult for me to recognize some people whom I have meet only few times.

Yes I think that I should be able to recognize people that I have met after three years. I have a relatively good memory and I have recognized lots of people that I haven't met in quite a while. A couple of days ago, I was at a basketball game and I met a friend that I had in college, which was about 15 years ago. I think that the better the relationship that you have created with that person, the easier that it will be able to recognize them. Good luck and happy mylotting!

I worked in a reatail adult store for years and people still recognize me. Some however don't want me to notice them. I don't forget faces but it drives me crazy when i can't remember names. I will ponder all day about the name to a person. I find it getting worse as i get older. I hate to say.

yeah, but i might only recognize the face...and not the name.. there are some instances to that i still recognize both the name and the face..for example in school, there are some people that i met when i was freshman, that i recognize their faces, but i do not remember their names..sometimes they see me in the hallway in the school, they smile to me, i just smile back, to avoid being rude.

Of course I do...I can still even recognize my former high school classmates, and that's some 34 years ago! People really do not change much as a general rule, unless of course they had plastic surgery, or have suddenly bloated or lost weight. But the basic features are still recognizable...

Dear friend, Most often I forget but at times I do remember some. It some of selected people I do remember that has any unforgettable feature or incidence we had met with. A casual person whom I meet usually I forget them.

I am very good in remembering people. Sometimes I do forget names but I don't forget the person. I can recognize a person even after years. Here is a true incident. Even I was surprised by my memory. Last year I met a one of my friends after 17 long years. We were together when we were in 4th grade. Now we both around 30 years. I was surprised that I still remembered her name her brother's name as well.
