Who are these lucky people on Vinefire?

On the Vinefire site today (see my profile for the link) they claim to have paid out over $10,000 to people all over the world in 'early' payments.
Previously they had stated their intention to remain in beta and payout not before January 2010.
This didn't bother me because personally I find it a great site to post links such as my Mylot and Yuwie referral pages, and I have been getting traffic and signups from them.
I take promises like this with a pinch of salt.
What I'd like to know is, fellow Vinefire members, are you one of the lucky ones? Or do you know someone who has actually had a PayPal payment today?
Please let us all know if you have any information!

I was doubtful when I saw that claim, but I have not searched the Internet to see if anyone claims to have been paid.
I don't see how Vinefire makes money to pay its members, apart from the 'sponsor links' which seem to be promoting similar things. I may be wrong but I think these are the site owners affiliate links.
I don't expect to be one of the 'lucky people' who gets paid early, or to get paid in January, but I shall continue to use Vinefire, because I do get traffic to my blog posts and articles from posting links there.

One of my referrals got paid this morning.
He sent me an e-mail to tell me about it.
It's the first time he ever made any money
on the internet so he was excited. Now he is
wanting to join more money makers.

nope :( I have not received any payments from them. I think they will be paying only those who upgraded their account paying 5$ which i did not do...

i am a member of vinefire but have had no mention of being paid early, i have made about 100 dollars but they will not pay me untill 2010 which i think sucks!
i have heard rumours if this site being a scam so i am thinking of giving up, if there is any people out there who have been paid then i would like to speak to them as im guessing that they are lying!
