How many page views do you get each day on AC?

March 27, 2009 2:45pm CST
I only have 16 articles on AC but I reckon it is much easier to get page views there than Helium so I am rewriting some of my helium articles on AC. Currently I only get about 30 page views a day which isnt bad for 16 articles. How many do you get, and how many articles do you have? I am planning on writing at least 10 new articles for AC in April so that I can earn more from page views. I absolutely love residual income and plan to write as much as possible to increase my earnings.

I have 171,862 page views for 700 articles and I receive about 750 page views a day. It sounds like you are doing really good because of your page view average. Each of my articles average about 260 articles and to AC that is not good. I don't promote my work so that may be part of the problem. I do however make about $30 a month in page views. I also get upfront payments for my articles so I make a little money with ac. Actually a lot more than what I make with Helium.

Thanks for your response, and thanks for your comments on my AC articles, perhaps it is you that is helping me get 30 a day . 750 a day is amazing, I am very pleased for you. It is unreal when you think that so many people visit our articles online. I hope you increase your daily page views soon, your articles are very good and look to be SEO optimised, whereas some of mine arent. I am planning on adding another article tonight and hopefully this will help increase my page views further. Oh an I make 14 times the amount of money on Helium with page views. I have another AC question if you upload an image with your article do you get extra page views for this?

I have heard the pictures entice more readers. Personally I don't know how true that is. Category editors are looking for articles with pictures or they have to supply pictures to the articles. I heard that it's easier choosing articles with pictures. Don't know because it isn't my turn yet. I can tell you that some of the writers were complaining because they had taken the time to download pictures and for whatever reason the pictures aren't showing up. I think it's a crap shoot because no one has provided why pictures disappear. Thanks for your comments on my articles and I am trying to catch all your articles as they are published.

Oh dear, I dont know, never been able to keep track on the page views. Since I add an article a day, 2 or 3 on weekends, the page views statistic is rather erratic. Right now the page view shows 1388, a very lucky number for us Chinese oh. We love to see the number 88. 8 means prosperity and 88 is double prosperity. Hope to reach Clout 7 by the end of the year. I know it's an ambitious goal, but there are 250 days to the end of the year, there is a lot of time to build up page views.

I am sure you will reach clout 7. I wanna reach clout 10 lol, but there is no chance I will get a million page views with only 250 days left of this year. I should aim for clout 7 also. Lots of hard work to be done but it is possible. Cliut 7 gets you a little extra for 1000 page views doesnt it.

Thanks for the calculation. I worked out I would need 334 000 page views with 200 articles to get to clout 10. I reckon I can get the 200 articles by the end of the year no problem, its the page views I am more worried about.

If you really aim for it, I think you can reach Clout 10. The number of your articles count in the computation of clout ranking. If you have 50001 page views and 100 articles, the computation for clout is 50001 + 100% of 50001 = 100002, which is Clout 8, instead of Clout 7. Since up to 200 articles are used for computation, a person with 50001 page views will be counted as having 150003 page views. So aim to reach the 200 articles by year end, you might just reach Clout 10 by 11:59 pm of 31 Dec 2009.

I have no clue how you figure this out?? I see there is an estimated payment rate on the My Account page, but how do you see how many page views you get per day? One thing I have noticed is that the more active I am on Associated Content (re-posting old articles and reading those of others), the better my own situation is. I would really appreciate finding out where you locate your daily page view rate. Good luck with your writing over on Associated Content!

Thanks for your explanation. I will have to start keeping track of this! I thought maybe there was some screen you were tabbing to that provided the information. I have just recently returned to using AC after a long dry spell, so I need to get up to speed and figure out how I am doing! I appreciate your help!

No problem glad I could help. It would be better though if they did show you individual day page views. What is your name on AC and I will visit some of your articles?

Thanks what I do is see my total page views for today which is just above the a mount you have earned for the month, or for the current payment period. Then I check back the next day and see what this has went up too. It can be found on the opening screen straight after you log in. It doesnt actually come up and say today page views, it is a matter of calculating it for yourself by subtracting yesterdays's total views displayed from todays's total views for the current payment period. Not explained very well if you are lost I will try again. Regarding my page views I reckon I need to be mroe active and comment on more articles which I rarely do

I've been on AC for over a year now, with only 66 articles right now... got 2 more at the editors in waiting. To date, I have about 11,588 pv's, and 24 fans. I started out trying for about 3 or 4 articles per day, but that went out the window real fast...lol. Now I do between 4 and 6 a week. My problem, is writing what I know... I don't think I know that much..lol. Not anymore than anybody else would know anyways.

That is a good number of page views you have. I like the way the page views keep adding up, and when we reach the higher clout levels we get more earnings per thousand views. I always try and set targets to write more too but it never works. I have done well with Helium this month submitting 27 articles so far with several more in progress. Now if I just add them all to AC my page views will surely increase. And I am sure you know alot more than you think. Plus most of the articles written are based on heavy research

AC has something like 3 times the traffic that Helium gets, if I remember right. That's a pretty significant difference when we're talking millions of hits per day! I have 38 articles since the end of November and about 3100 PVs, so that's... ummm... about 45 hits a day, I think. (About 65 days I've been on there now.) Haven't written anything new for a while, though: been blogging too much!

It's definitely worthwhile to re-post your Helium articles to AC for page views only. I think it's a totally different crowd and even if you earn just a little extra, why not?

Not only Helium, but Constant Content as well, provided they meet the criteria there. Selling them on usage rights for ten or fifteen dollars brings in an occasional bonus!

I blog and write concurrently. I tend to write shorter on my blog, then expand the idea into a 400 words article and post it to Helium and AC. In this way, wont have to lose effort writing for blog and thinking about another topic for articles. I like creative writings and AC is a better place to post creative articles. There are some writers who draw cartoons and some who post short stories in AC. They wont earn anything if they post in Helim instead.

AC is a freelance writing site where you can upload articles, audio and video and earn page views payments. If you are from the US you can earn upfront payments. AC stands for Associated Content

644,754 hits on 336 articles and am a level 10. I have only two on Helium and am not impressed with that site at all.

Depending on how may upfront articles I do, I bring in between $150 to $200 a month. Check out this article I wrote about making money at AC. Http://www.tinyurl.com/ao2cq8 it gives some good advice. Or messge me there. My name at AC is Randy Inman Mylot annoys the crap out of me by not letting people paste links in unless they have eight million posts or whatever it is.

Wow you are doing very well with AC, how much do you earn there each month on average? You must be earning quite a bit as you are now at the stage to receive $2 per thousand views

I usually get at least one thousand maybe more a day. I usually make eighteen to twenty eight dollars a month in just page views. Currently I have over two hundred articles on Associated Content. I have been writing for Associated Content for over five years now. That has given me a lot of time to write so many articles for them.
