I love to eat chocolates epecially when I feel down. Studies show that chocolates have mood-elevating effect.. So I guess that's why I feel all right after eating it.. or probably only because it's my favorite.. ^_^ So what's your 'happy food'?

Happy food for me is anything take away, McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Pizza anything i don't have to cook but then there is chocolate as well, I guess everything you shouldn't have too much of is what usually makes me happy....

Hahaha! Yeah, I almost forgot about fast foods.. I agree, lilaclady.. Anything that I don't have to cook or prepare for myself is considered as 'happy food', not that I don't like to cook.. It's just that, I'm not a very good one, unfortunately.. But thank God for take-outs! lol! ^_^ Thanks for responding (and, wow! 18k+ points?!! How long did it take you to reach that much?)

3 Years?! And you still actively participate here in myLot? That's great to know. Because someone made a comment in one of the discussion I have started and he said that he's been here for a few months, 3 months, I guess, and he said that he's tired of the pointless chitchat and recycled discussions like the one I made (but which he responded to) and the slow way of earning money. I think that's a little discouraging for a newbie like myself to hear. But I'm glad that you're not the kind. ^_^

Ice cream ! Its my mood-elevating food, considering that the weather outside is so hot and I am on the mood of eating something sweet, hmm nothing beats ice cream for me hehehe. And speaking of which is a double dutch loaded I have right now in front of me, I have already consumed it and wanting some more, hahehe.

Whoa! Now that you've mentioned, I think I'm going to get some ice cream myself.. It's getting pretty hot and stuffy here in my place already I could swallow a whole gallon! hahaha!

I agree with you about chocolates elevating mood. Besides its being delicious, it also improves one's health. I love chocolate but seldom eat it for the simple reason that it costs a lot of money to get it. Bananas due to its being cheap, has become one of my favorite food.

I'm sure you know a lot about health than I do, yanzalong. When I was still living with my parents, there were bananas and other fruits on the dining table for us, and almost zero junk foods and chocolates, almost, because they were kinda health conscious, too. But when I started to live on my own, and especially when I got to work in a stressful environment, I began to eat chocolates, although I only eat 'dark chocolates'.. and I know my limit. ^_^

Hmmm.... My happy food would be chocolates and my happy drink would be coffee. Put them together and I'm on cloud nine. Lol. Chocolates will always be my happy food and my comfort food. When I feel like I need a pick-me-upper, I turn to chocolates or coffee to give me a lift.

Ah, coffee.. That's also in my list. But in my case, if I put chocolates and coffee together, I palpitate! hahaha! I used to be a coffee-holic, and I guess I still am, but I try to steer clear from it somehow because it's bad for my health like what my doctor told me.. Well, I'm kinda stubborn, so go chocolates and coffee! Thanks for responding, rosedust82! Have a nice day! ^_^

Hi Persona, I also love to eat chocolate and also have noticed it's effect on mood.. But I don't have a "Happy Food" kind of thing.. When I feel tensed or feeling bore use water.. I drink a lot of water and then I start feeling better..Water my point of view the best thing one can use while he/she is upset...One more thing you can get water everywhere......... Happy MyLotting

Hi, Informer! I'm glad to know someone who is also a chocolate-lover like myself.. I don't drink a lot of water, though I know that I should. That's actually a bad habit of mine and I'm trying to change it, especially since it's kinda hot here in my place. And yeah, it's everywhere, and very affordable, too! Thanks a lot for responding! Have a nice day! ^_^

Hello friend, I also read somewhere that chocolates have a very positive effect on your thought and they even help you recall things better. Hence, my teacher once suggested me to have chocolate just before I went for an exam. That way, I would be able to recall things better. I do not know if it is really true as I have not experienced it yet but if scientists have found it to be true, it must be. All the best and happy mylotting!

Yes chocolates are my favorite but not much of it. Other mood elevating foods should be something that we always wanted to eat like junk foods like burgers, pizzas etc. Any food can be mood elevating as long as we have the long desire to want to eat it.
